Monster is great. Second best song here. Good fun record.

You're All I Have was much better than Chasing Cars, but OH WELL. Not to mention the even better Set The Fire To The Third Bar. Kooks and Razorlight are garbage though.

Set The Fire To The Third Bar

:o  Kooks are amazing! Especially Naive! Still love this song!

LMAO @ Smack That going out before the disgustingly terrible Moment Like This :puke:
Shayne - That's My Goal! It's going it seems so hopefully I'll be voting against his other song since next round.

Not that funny, even I've been on BJ long enough to realise Akon is the most hated artist here, and Leona is among the most loved.

Saying that, Bleeding Love got out on Round 12, and A Moment Like This is a winners single, which always has bad luck

I think 50 Cent is more hated than Akon.

Candy Shop should hopefully go out first in 2005, what an utterly diabolical record :puke2: Surely in the top 10 worst ever.

50 Cent more hated than Akon?!? Is it actually possible to be more hated than Akon? The worst thing Akon has done is creating Just Dance, and even that wasn't too bad.

50 Cent is responsible for some brilliant songs, such as Ayo Technology. It's a shame people can't appreciate that. :( One of my sisters is a big fan of him.

I can't see how Smack That is so hated. I mean, look at some of the songs it got voted out against. And with over 20% of the vote!?! :o I actually cannot believe it. Am I missing some hidden death-threats in the song or something?

On this forum, yes. 50 Cent hasn't really been that much of a talking point since his lame attempt at starting a rivalry with Kanye back in 2007, but overall I would say he IS more hated.

If he put a song out tomorrow and it shot to #1 on iTunes, you'd see how hated he is.

50 Cent made one okay album (Get Rich Or Die Tryin', although it's very overrated in some quarters) and pumped out complete and utter $h!t for the rest of his career. In Da Club is still obviously a hip hop classic though, whether you love it or hate it. But let's face it, he's not a good rapper at all - his flow is almost non-existent, his rhymes often retarded, his lyrics can be absolutely disgusting (as they are on Candy Shop)... nearly all his songs owe more to the production than anything else.

As for Smack That, I didn't vote for it, so perhaps you're better off posing that question to someone who actually DID.

I'm trying to be objective here - its total generic rubbish, simple as that really- the lyrics are awful and the song just feels like a re write of any generic urban song- there is absolutely nothing original or inspiring about it (or Akon in general for that matter) and its not really the sort of thing BJ loves is it (although I agree with them on this one) are you really that surprised?

thats just my opinion though, each to their own of course :P

I don't actually mind In Da Club by 50 cent, but he is pretty much the hate figure on here, most of it is deserved though- he is a vile person and not as great as he thinks he is really

Yeah, nobody has really talked about 50 Cent since I started reading on here, luckily, I suppose! :( He'll probably need to collab with Lady Gaga to be liked on here, and we all know that will NEVER happen.

And my whole post wasn't directed at you. I hope I didn't make you uneasy. I'm not actually as stressed out as I sound.

I don't like half of these anyway but my vote goes to Shakira as it's the only one that genuinely offends my ears and Wyclef Jean only adds insult to injury. I can't quite put into words how much I hate that song!

Any artist I like who collaborated with that man would only go DOWN in my estimations. :puke2:

But what if they didn't choose to collab with him? Like in hip hop, a lot of the time the rappers just get the beat, and then submit their verses. They might not have a clue who will sing the hook, or what other rappers could be on the track until it's finished.

About the bold bit, are you getting that from like interviews he's done, or from the songs themselves?

Ne-Yo - So Sick

Poor Shayne Ward :(

That's My Goal.

There is so many dreadful songs that need to go, Monster, Promiscuous, America, Naive to say but a few
