July 1, 201114 yr The former Destiny's Child singer, who sang her solo and group hits and covers at the music festival last weekend, was turned down by musician Lennox because she had a back injury and could not perform on stage. The "Walking on Broken Glass" singer Lennox told BBC 6 Music reporter Sinead Garvan about the invitation. In December last year, Lennox named Beyoncé as one of her favourite singers, together with Shakira, Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin. She was also named the best act of Glastonbury 2011 over at Digital Spy, where thousands of people voted. She got 43.6% of the vote!
