February 22, 201114 yr  I just don't like him. It doesn't have to be covered in fur, I really like Adam from Hurts :kink:
March 3, 201114 yr The first more in-depth set of odds I've seen this year (from William Hill) 4/1 Norway 6/1 Estonia 7/1 Germany 10/1 Denmark 12/1 Azerbaijan 12/1 Greece 12/1 Bosnia Herzegovina 16/1 Ireland 16/1 United Kingdom 20/1 Finland 20/1 Romania 22/1 Switzerland 25/1 Turkey 28/1 Austria 33/1 Poland 40/1 Georgia 40/1 Serbia 40/1 Moldova 40/1 Slovenia 50/1 Albania 50/1 Iceland 50/1 Belgium 66/1 Hungary 66/1 Malta 66/1 Spain 66/1 Cyprus 66/1 The Netherlands 66/1 Belarus 66/1 Latvia 66/1 France 80/1 Italy 100/1 Lithuania 100/1 Bulgaria 100/1 Macedonia :o Look at Estonia go! I can understand Haba Haba still being top, it's definitely the most instant song in this year's contest as a complete package - i.e. musically and visually. Very good odds for Germany again too! I'd be inclined to put Denmark joint first I think also at 4/1 and Greece need to be FAR lower. A little unfair on Serbia perhaps? 40/1 seems like a very appealing each way bet at this stage. Switzerland surprisingly high!
March 3, 201114 yr Author Greece are up there on history alone. There is no way they'll be troubling the top ten this year! Well...the quality all round isn't exactly amazing this year, so they actually could. I'm hoping for something good from Azerbaijan. Hope they don't win though, they're clearly going to do a Russia and keep sending immense songs until they do...
March 3, 201114 yr Well they said that about Russia last year  Don't get me wrong, I hated Lost And Forgotten (it should have been) but I quite like Watch My Dance, even if I wish they'd went for Hamogela if they wanted a blokes-rapping moment.
March 3, 201114 yr Author Well they said that about Russia last year  Don't get me wrong, I hated Lost And Forgotten (it should have been) but I quite like Watch My Dance, even if I wish they'd went for Hamogela if they wanted a blokes-rapping moment. Lost and Forgotten was hideous, but if you look at its points breakdown, you can see how it got where it did... Azerbaijan 3 Moldova 10 Belarus 12 Ukraine 10 Armenia 10 Israel 10 Estonia 10 Latvia 8 Lithuania 5 It also got points from Turkey and Slovakia, but that only equalled ten points. The thing with Russia is that they're virtually guaranteed 80 points every year regardless of what they sent, and even with jury votes included. If it was merely televotes, they'd be getting ten or 12 from all of the above countries, so another 20 or so would be added on. Indeed, when I made my full prediction for last year's contest, it looked like this: 01. Armenia 219 02. Germany 211 03. Greece 200 04. Turkey 167 05. Romania 150 06. Azerbaijan 142 07. Denmark 136 08. Israel 127 09. Belgium 101 10. Ireland 98 11. Russia 97 12. Serbia 86 13. Norway 80 14. Ukraine 76 15. Georgia 59 16. Iceland 58 17. Bosnia-Herzegovina 46 18. Albania 43 19. Moldova 37 20. Cyprus 35 21. Spain 24 22. Belarus 22 23. United Kingdom 19 24. Portugal 16 25. France 13 I wasn't too far out with Russia! We won't comment on much of the rest though.
March 10, 201114 yr Author Massive update from PaddyPower, now that they have all countries listed... Norway 7/2 France 4/1 Germany 5/1 Estonia 6/1 Russia 6/1 United Kingdom 11/1 Azerbaijan 12/1 Ireland 12/1 Sweden 12/1 Bosnia-Herzegovina 12/1 Denmark 12/1 Greece 20/1 Finland 20/1 Romania 20/1 Poland 20/1 Hungary 20/1 Turkey 20/1 Austria 25/1 Israel 25/1 Armenia 25/1 Switzerland 25/1 Slovakia 33/1 Slovenia 33/1 Ukraine 33/1 Georgia 40/1 Serbia 50/1 Croatia 50/1 Belgium 50/1 Moldova 50/1 Cyprus 50/1 Spain 66/1 Iceland 66/1 Latvia 66/1 Malta 66/1 Albania 66/1 Netherlands 66/1 Italy 80/1 Portugal 80/1 Bulgaria 100/1 San Marino 100/1 Lithuania 100/1 FYR Macedonia 100/1 Belarus 100/1 Might I also add, that I had my first ESC dream of the year last night, and it was Austria who won!
March 10, 201114 yr I have an overwhelming feeling that I'm going to be crushingly disappointed when I hear Blue's song tomorrow night :drama: and  David, I've never had an ESC dream (that I can recall) in my life! 4/1 is amazing for France, wow :o
March 10, 201114 yr Author I have an overwhelming feeling that I'm going to be crushingly disappointed when I hear Blue's song tomorrow night :drama: I have this feeling in the back of my mind too, but still excited nonetheless! I'll be pretty pissed when I hear it anyway, so will probably quite like it regardless.
March 10, 201114 yr UK shortened to 6/1! France now favourites at 7/2 and Norway second at 5/1 - another big 4 win? :o
March 10, 201114 yr Big 5, you i-refuse-to-put-Italy-in-the-Big-5 :kink: Whatever, I'd completely forgotten they were even back, they've turned up with such a nothing of an entry
March 10, 201114 yr Whatever, I'd completely forgotten they were even back, they've turned up with such a nothing of an entry  RACISM. :kink: Follia D'amore is AMAZING. :( And i'm not even a jazz fan! :o Edited March 10, 201114 yr by Tricia Takanawa
March 10, 201114 yr I'm surprised that France are the current favourites, top 10 yes, juries yes, but I don't know if it will have enough appeal to tele-voters to win overall.
March 11, 201114 yr Author France is good, but I can't really see it winning after having a good long think. I'm thinking another Patricia Kaas-esque result for the French, and their third decent result in a row.
March 11, 201114 yr Out of everything we've heard, UK are actually my tip for the top at the moment :o San Marino, let's face it, won't be bringing a winner to the table, so it's up to Sweden, Azerbaijan and Russia to spoil the party, with the latter obviously having the best chance.
