Posted July 25, 200618 yr It seems that even two years into their relationship, Hollywood actress Natasha Henstridge is having some trouble embracing the Scottish heritage of her boyfriend, singer Darius Danesh. 'Darius took me up to Loch Lomond last week. I got confused and asked him if I could see the Loch Ness Monster there,' giggled leggy Natasha, while partaking in the polo tradition of stamping divots at the Gold Cup at Cowdray Park this weekend. The Canadian actress,31 - who was raised in a trailor park and left home at 14 to model in Paris before going on to star as a man-eating alien in the sci-fi thriller Species - shares her time with 25 year old Darius between homes in Los Angelas and London. During their Highland fling, the half-Iranian, half-Scottish singer, fresh from starring for a second time in the Wesh End Musical Chicago, also introduced his girlfriend to a few local delicacies. 'He persuaded me to try haggis and neeps and tattird,' says Nartasha, gamely trying to disguise her evident revulsion. 'Put it this way - they weren't my favorite food.' The pic with it was another of the Polo ones.
July 25, 200618 yr Thanks, megham. I can't blame her. I'm a Scot and I can't abide haggis in any form, including vegetarian. I do however appreciate Loch Lomond. It's beautiful in this sort of weather. Real picture postcard scenery and the loch is studded with lots of tiny islands. I wonder if Darius took her sailing. Edited July 25, 200618 yr by Baytree
July 26, 200618 yr At least she had a try. Loch Lomond is lovely. Wonder how long she is over for....and if or when Darius is going to take the first plane to Europe ....perhaps he did...to Scotland
July 27, 200618 yr lol, yes - so much for just upping and jetting off Loch Lomond was lovely, although I prefered the oldy world untouched bits, the new view point at the south end was too commercialised for me(plus you had to PAY to go up the viewing tower)
