So I went to see him at Brixton Academy last night and I have to say it was one of the greatest gigs I've ever been to. Joey Jordison on drums, John 5 on guitar and Piggy D on bass they band were extremely tight. Played all the hits including White Zombie stuff, had a massive bank of screens and loads of costumes, pyrotechnics and 'monsters' on stage. It also included a delightful pisstake of Marilyn Manson.

Anybody else go and any other admirers of his work?

If you get a chance to see him this year it's well worth the cash even if you have to pay a tout!

Rob Zombie ROCKS.... Something I have known since the days of White Zombie....

i'm jealous, i wanted to go last night, sold out before i managed to get tickets/i had no one to go with.

Sadly, I never bothered when White Zombie were still going as I thought they'd be around a while, and couldn't make it for the Helbilly Deluxe Tour so I made sure this time.

Makes me tempted to go to Download just for him even though everything else so far doesn't excite me.

 

 

And Chris even at tout prices it would have been worth it and you can always make friends in the pub beforehand.

oh im never really bothered about going to gigs alone, i always perfer to go alone than to not go, but tickets had sold out, i'm strongly against touts i'd pay their prices i just wouldnt feed their bast*rdness of exploiting music fans.

I know what you mean about touts. They are vile scumbags and I'll avoid them wherever possible but just occasionally they're your only option

He's coming to Ulster Hall in June, really tempted to go. I don't know a lot of his music but love the tracks I have heard, and the quality of the live show speaks for itself really.

i'm VERY excited for this movie! i'm one of the few people who absolutely loves H2 (i know, i know! LOL). i'm thrilled that Rob is doing an original movie that's NOT about vampires or werewolves! witches are cool and a relatively untapped creative source! Rob's work gets better and better with each movie so this movie i think will be great! :)
