Posted February 18, 201114 yr It came out this week digitally and physically in Sweden and it looks like this: http://musicrocksoursocks.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/September-Love-CPR-300x300.jpg 01. Party In My Head 02. Resuscitate Me 03. Something’s Going On 04. Intimate Connection 05. Heat Rising 06. Walk Away 07. Ricochet 08. Hands Up 09. Me & My Microphone 10. Music 11. My Emergency 12. Walk Alone 13. White Flag 14. Bump and Grind 15. Baksmälla (feat. Petter) 16. Kärlekens tunga 17. Mikrofonkåt 18. Vem ska jag tro på 19. Teddybjörnen Fredriksson 20. Nobody Knows It can be a bit underwhelming on first listen, but it's a definite grower. Highlights are "Party in My Head", "Bump and Grind", "Nobody Knows" and the massive "Baksmälla" (back smella? :kink:) with Swedish rapper, Mikrofonkåt-author, Petter. There's ATB moments ("Something's Going On"), la-la-la moments ("Intimate Connection"), la-di-da-da moments ("Ricochet"), club banger moments (about every other track, really), and ready-to-skip balladry moments ("Walk Away"). A very strong collection of tracks, from a more Pop oriented September!
February 18, 201114 yr It's really disappointing after the great Dancing In Orbit (compilation album for the Netherlands). Love CPR is also available here in the Netherlands BTW (physically), I don't know about the UK? Anyway the album doesn't do it for me... Baksmalla (omg you've ruined it now! LOL), Something's Going On, Heat Rising and Walk Alone are my highlights. There are too many club songs which I always hate. And she doesn't need all that autotune!
February 18, 201114 yr Author I also got the Dancing in Orbit compilation instead of the albums and I was hoping for something of that magnitude. It was disappointing to hear her so generic on this album at first listen, but the more I listen to it the more I'm hooked. I love how it starts and then how it ends, from Bump and Grind onwards it's just thrilling. On my third listen the first tracks are sounding better, although I do think it's all very samey. But hey, we wanted a mega club-ready album and she delivered, it just lacks those epic numbers she gave us in the past although I think it takes a few listens on this album to find it's epic tracks. I mean, Nobody Knows is a tune and it's the last track you come across! And Baksmälla is just ! I love how it starts and I realise "oh, it's back smella!" haha. I read it means "Hungover" :)
February 18, 201114 yr I liked her three previous albums a lot, so I will get round to listening to this very soon! ^_^
February 19, 201114 yr I think it's an excellent album, admittedly there are a handful of tracks between Something's Going On (track 3 - hoorah for the ATB bender making a comeback btw) and Me & My Microphone (track 9) that I don't care much for, but the second half of the album is fantastic, love My Emergency, Walk Alone and all of the Swedish language tracks  My physical copy arrived today :D Apparently it shifted 20,000 copies on day 1 in Sweden, which is pretty much the equivalent of an album in the UK shifting about 125k on its first day - i.e. ridiculously huge.
February 19, 201114 yr Wow that is indeed alot. But she was bound to have succes with this because of Mikrofonkat. Too bad it's not because of one of her own songs. Why was this released on Monday though? The Swedish charts don't come out on Monday, right?
February 19, 201114 yr Have downloaded it but not listened yet! :( I loved Cry For You (the UK compilation album) as well as her albums released in Sweden, so I'm sure I'll be happy with this!
February 25, 201114 yr Got to #1 in Sweeeeeeeden. Well I'm glad for her, she's finally getting the sales she deserves, but this album didn't deserve it!
February 25, 201114 yr I think it's a decent effort on the whole on her part, but theres nothing hugely grabbing for me which is pretty much what I expected considering it's pretty much my opinion on the already relesead singles. I'm also fairly certain I entered a coma midway through. Nice sales though in Sweden. Shame the UK success died down after 'Cry For You'.
February 25, 201114 yr It's a huge grower of an album, the two singles and the Swedish tracks initially saved it for me, but I've honestly got into and really like every song on here now, my favourite Scandipop album for quite a while.
