May 10, 201114 yr Alesha was a pretty good vocalist in Mis-Teeq... I can't recall her from Mis-Teeq if I'm honest - I'm only going on her solo stuff - and in the words of Lord Melchet when they tried to replace his lovely Miss Georgina with a substitute in Blackadder - her voice is too 'reedy'. Oh come on! We can't have two boring people on the show (three if we include Danni Minogue - who I have nothing against other than her being boring). At this rate - Louis Walsh is going to be the only panelist with something that remotely resembles a personality. Kath

She's an incredibly weak vocalist (although I'll admit TBDN is one of the best songs of the last few years) and her comments would have no substance ... she's too nice! No ... they should think outside the box for the fourth judge and the only person for me is ....... May 10, 201114 yr I'm sorry but nobody even needs to justify that 'incredibly weak vocalist' comment with a response when it comes to Alesha. She's soulful, she can reign it in, she can belt, she's incredibly versatile and having seen her live I can also say she's not just a good vocalist but an all-round entertainer. This is a show who has previously had Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue on the panel - strength of vocals is not really a pre-requisite. But Alesha's bloody good anyway.
May 10, 201114 yr Get Gary Barlow and Pixie Lott in as the judges. um, did you see her 'judging' last time? :lol: the worst choice for a judge ever, blatantly just a recent name to get people to tune in and to appeal to the male audience (which, alas, worked on me :drama: ) What about Adele ? :kink: She would make the best judge ever, with her funny and witty comments. Plus she was in the X Factor USA crowd yesterday ... was she anticipating a future role on X Factor UK ? Christ, I hope not- nothing against her, but that would like send all her songs shooting back up the charts or something :drama:
