So gutted I can't afford it :( A ticket on top of travel/food etc...would cost me £100 and I literally only have enough left in my bank until June 17th to pay my bills and outgoings. My sensible side has taken over sadly as I can't afford to get into debt for a concert :(

Do people reckon this will be their last tour? Surely even if they split up again soon (which is surely impending), they'd do a farewell tour?

For a long time I thought this would be it, but now I really don't. There seems to be lots of talk about Robbie staying on and never any mention about a split. I think you'd be ok starting to save for the next one ;)

Its quite possible they'll do a few even - so plenty of time to start saving!

i still think they will never have a farewell tour as such...i dont think they will ever disband again. they have a massive fanbase and are creating the best music of their careers since they rejoined. there;s no way in the foreseeable future that this will change.

Expect a live album for xmas along with a record breaking dvd/bluray and then a new album next year with a tour to follow.

I dont think or maybe im been naive that they will split anytime soon, i mean why would they, i think the only thing is whether robbie is staying or not and its looking like he is staying but i guess time will tell. I think the fact all five have more control this time round over their work load etc makes it more manageable for them to continue.

I also think they are lucky enough to be in a position to take time off and still comeback and achieve success, i would love to know though how their recording contract stands as so far we have 3 studio albums, the live album and now progressed and im sure another live album will come out at christmas, so i wonder how many albums ahve they signed up, im sure a new greatest hits is also in the contract aswell.

i wonder when they will release a greatest hits....unless it happens after the next studio album?

i cant see the sales of it to be anywhere near the first weeks of Progress/Circus/BW tho unless they package 4 or so new songs with it which i cant see them doing..

A 'Best of ...' album would sell very well - obviously not as well as a studio album - but certainly (lot) better than most other artists 'Best of ... ' albums. I'm thinking the contents would be:

Patience

Shine

Reach Out

Beautiful World

Rule The World

Greatest Day

Up All Night

Said It All

Hold Up A Light

The Flood

Happy Now*

Kidz*

Love Love*

It would have to be a 'Best of ... ' rather than a 'Greatest Hits' ... as the songs marked with an asterix could be seen as a bit of a falsehood (despite Happy Now deserving better sales - I love this song now)

Ya i think it would have to be a best of plus im sure a new greatest hits will not include anything from take that phase 1. A new greatest hits i agree would sell well for them and sell consistantly over a long period but definitly wouldnt sell in such huge numbers as the studio albums.

I agree with your track listing Kathy but i think id wait for life and the garden would probably be in there aswell and possibly ahead of reach out, if they do a a best of i would hope at least 2 new songs would be added. The only thing with a best of is i wonder how they would work out how much robbie would make from the album as most of the stuff robbie has no part in.

Still if a best of goes a head i think a live album and another studio album may come before that, on the other hand alot of greatest hits releases come on the back of 3 studio albums which they have done so i would think we will see either a live album or graetest hits been released for christmas along with a new dvd.

yeah they will put id wait for life on as it was the third single off BW and the garden because it performed well in europe.

i agree tho that there will have to be 2 or 3 new tracks on it.

cant see any more than 13 tracks on an album tho judging by their previous efforts

I would say 15 tracks will be the maximum on a greatest hits for them, but as i type that im wondering would they do a double cd,cd 1 of the old stuff and cd 2 of the new stuff.
They could even stick Shame on there if they wanted to.
Ya i forgot that but it isnt really a take that song though.

No it's not but it is two members of the group, it hasn't been on a TT album and as they're a little short on singles I wouldn't be surprised.

yeah i was thinking a double cd...
if they go with just take that phase 2 i cant see it been a double cd, but if they do a complete greatest hits it will have to be a double cd, personaly though i think if they do a a best of/greatest hits it should be from patience onwards and keep a complete graetest hits for another time.

Wasn't sure where to post this link, but i thought this thread has been here longer than the 'progress setlist' one..

It's the medley of Babe and Everything Changes followed by Back For Good.

This recording misses out MLS which is before Babe, so its about a minute/minute and a half of those songs each and then the full version of back for good
