I do believe the 'Trollana' is a comment on Diana's trollish nature rather than the poster's.

umi is right once (ooh! #1!!11) agen. diana has been trollin since last october, EXAMPLE:

 

in august she said over a span of 2 weiks 'album out early 2013', 'album out later this year'

in june she said album done, 2 weiks later 'in studio writing 4 album'

b4 she went to africa she said 'album done', while in africa it was 'my album isnt finished'

Completely agreeing with Trollalalala Vickers, she is a troll. If she doesn't know when the album out, then she should learn to keep her trap shut until she does. For weeks it was 'out in 2012' then it was 'later this year' then it was 'early 2013' before going back to later this year. It's just down right rude and pretty disrespectful to her fans that she keeps giving out false info.

 

I mean the acting and tour thing is no excuse. First and foremost she is a musician, the tour should be an extension, not the reason to delay any album release.

Well for all she knew, it WAS coming out in 2012. There is such a thing as setbacks, and a lot of them seem to be happening to Diana. Sorry for being loony and all but Lucie Silvas is the same right now. Her album was meant to be out in early 2011, look where we are now with no new album.

Indeed, it seemed as she was going ahead with an independent release. However, when she posted a few weeks ago that "it wasn't quite where WE wanted to be" suggests she maybe has a label causing the delays possibly?

 

She is off to a photo shoot now according to her twitter, I'll be very positive and say it could be her single/album artwork! But probably not!

Clearly she didn't know for sure though, or after the first twenty eight million setbacks she should have known to keep her face schtum until she knew for sure? I don't mind the fact that it's been two years since SFTTCT, it's the fact that she keeps telling people it's ready and that it's coming out when it isn't. People don't really care about her DJing or about her acting in Africa, her fanbase, or what's left of it (which is scary considering the height of her popularity in the X Factor was insane) want an album.

the album + single artwork has already been shot in january, in paris. iT'll probs be a 'very' shoot.

 

i am a fan of diana and have supported her since she was on x factor. She is not the same person tho. bAck then she was passionate about music, whereas now all she seems 2 care about is bein famous.

 

at the least, after leading every1 on 4 a year, she cud release a statement or update ppl, not a misleading tweet here and there. its not acceptable.

 

I do see why a lot of fans feel like that, and to an extent I do too. It's just I believe that Diana will release the album soon and that she only gives us these hints so it gives us something to get excited about! I'd rather have these hints than nothing at all otherwise we'd all think that she'd deserted music completely!

 

 

^ I totally believe that she's doing it to get people pumped for the record too, but it's flopping. She started doing it too early. Maybe if it was being released, let's say in Feb, start teasing now or next month, but she's been teasing for MONTHS, when in reality, it doesn't seem any closer than it did three months ago. By the time the record is out, everybody will be fed up of waiting and have deserted her.

i get what u mean, but shes been hinting at stuff 4 a year now. it's a bit much. she false started early this year, then in june, now shes starting up again. its hard to take anythin she says srsly. it was funny at 1 point but now it is just disrespectful.

 

i do wonder what the point in touring with olly was when she had nothing 2 promote. that spot shud have went 2 sum1 deserving and who had material out or coming out.

2 years isn't a long time, but it has seemed like forever because of the way she has been teasing for around a year now.

 

I had the same thing being a Sophie Ellis-Bextor fan, in April 2008 she said her last album would be out at the end of that year. We eventually got it in June 2011...

Her label probably want a big single to promote her album with? Without a hit you're sunk in the pop world.

I don't think she cares about being famous, but wants to use her fame to sell the music.

I've found that the film Diana will be in is called 'The Perfect Wave' and she is in the cast alongside Clint Eastwood's son!

no were not lol. shes been tweeting this 4 a year. we are 1 year on from her teasing and we dont even kno the name/release date or anythin. weve been in limbo 4 a year basically. she totes luvs her fans :rolleyes:

She's left it far too late for any success now I think, I forsee a top 100 single if she's lucky and the album charting in the lower regions of the top 40 when it eventually comes around. :(

As long as we do finally get the album, I'm not bothered where it charts - I just want the music! Of course, if she can chart as high as possible then that's brilliant, but it will depend on how big her label is (if she has one). I think she is mainly in it for the music now as she has plenty of other ventures (Very, Collection 2000, acting etc.) to fall back on!

 

That said, if she can be successful then that'd be amazing! I think she still has the fanbase that can get her a top 40 album at least, and that will be a success in itself if she is going independently or on a minor label.
