I echo the people saying Monster is amazing. It's my second favourite song here (and has been since the start) so I'd like it to get top 20. My favourite song here I thought might scrape top 10 but a few rounds ago it had quite a few votes (although it's since dropped to 0/1 votes per round so hopefully it can still get there, then I'll be happy). And I'll stop being all cryptic now, k?

As for my least favourite three left... those would be Unfaithful, Welcome To The Black Parade and Hips Don't Lie. I've barely voted for them just because hardly anyone else is. I'm quite surprised that WTTBP isn't picking up votes but I always knew Unfaithful and Hips Don't Lie would make the top 10. There are also a large handful of others that I have much DISLIKE for, one of which would be One so that can gladly go.

I love Welcome to the Black Parade. Not as good as the likes of Pump It and Smack That, obviously, but great nonetheless. :)

I agree with you on something! :o that song is probably one of my favourite number 1s ever- its just so epic

I actually don't mind any of the songs left... most of the 'landfill indie' that stuck around long enough to be one of the top 40 singles of the year is actually good - "Monster" is genius.

And I'll be annoyed if MCR don't make the final 15

Probably not one of my favourite #1s ever, but yes, it's SO epic!!! It makes me really happy too. :) It was so insanely popular back then. I think I had to force myself to love it to survive.

I love Mary J Blige and U2's one,i had hoped it would stay much longer,i have fond memories of the time that song was around,i was in australia on the best holiday ever.
It's time for Ain't No Other Man by Miss Floplera to go. <_<

I love Welcome To The Black Parade, hope it makes top 20. What a shame that their new singles are $h!te :(

Good to see Xtina getting votes, but would like Mary J to leave this round. SMIHOW is rubbish (its just average landfill indie with dreadful lyrics) but Naive is better.

I want Unfaithful to win, what a song! And I love Hips Don't Lie too

WTTBP is probably in my top 5 2000s #1s. Probably the last #1 before Someone Like You that just sounds nothing like a UK #1 (I'm ignoring Rage here obviously)
'America'. Awful, awful song.
I think the first minute or so of 'Welcome to the Black Parade' is brilliant but then it just turns into generic of-the-time emo tosh!

lol. The first minute is my least favourite part of the song.

I heard Welcome to the Black Parade on Kerrang! like an hour ago aswell!! :D

We need a deciding vote

Someone vote for 'Promiscuous' - easily Nelly Furtado's worst single from the 'Loose' era. :(

If Rihanna wins I think I'll throw up. It would have no chance if it wasn't by her (hate to sound cliché, but it's true in this case :(). I think Nelly Furtado will win with 'Maneater' but it's quite open I guess. Would be a deserving winner though.

Someone Like You definitely sounds like a UK #1! Just because ballads are way out of fashion nowadays doesn't mean they always were. It already has that hallmark or timeless quality to be played 5/10 years down the line, a bit like another recent ballad #1 from Bruno Mars.

I'd say the last one apart from Rage would be Kid Rock. Since when did country crossover stuff get to #1 here?! :drama: Such a random one.

And I'd probably have it in my least 5 favourite #1s of the 2000s, but each to their own!

I wouldn't have imagined you listening to Kerrang! :o

It's more the fact that it's a ballad with no genre crossover than it just being a ballad - JTWYA and Grenade are R&B-ish ballads so they sound much more like #1s than Someone Like You. But maybe that's just me.

Good point on All Summer Long, I forgot that ever happened, what an awful awful song.
