i dont claim to know anything about hip-hop music, like i said, wtf has that got to do with us english?.. most of which live a totally different life from them black ghettos... now you have set youself up, please tell me! im willing to be educated!

"a 1 more thing the same thing can said about those ghetto kids from la or nyc can be said about

punk rockers too!! thank you."...............

....................... and? surely that supports my argument!

god how i hate white kids who are trying to be black <_<

actin black??how ignorant and stupid of you to say thaty

so if talk in slang and wear baggy clothes does that

mean im tryin to be black???

serioulsy how old are you child???

let me educate you child!!!

HipHop is more that about bitches, money, cars & bling bling

Im talking about real undergound hiphop

not the commercially hiphop you see and hear on tv

and it has more creibility than pop will ever had :)

how lame and pathetic!

no, darling - just true and bang on the money.

when you saying horrible genre of music are you meaning hip-hop, r&b, Hyphy, snap, older stuff, newer stuff?

old or new, i never took to hip hop, it says nothing to me, it has no relevance nor interest and it sounds bloody awful.

no - it just means you're being like a sheep and following every other cheap and nasty town kid who hasn't got a brain of their own to create their OWN style of dress. And talking in slang is for people with limited intelligence and limited knowledge of language - as your posts are proving, Pussycat Dolls fan.

Thank you.

........... conduct yourself in an appropriate manner or i will excercise my mod powers! :P

you have still not said anything to 'educate' me. you have made a statement but so far have failed to support your opinion with any detail.

now please tell me, what relevance is hip hop to 'middle brittain'? you know, white middle class people living in the suburbs/sticks?

credibility?...lol.. yeah right, mind you i guess you think 'pop' is the mass manufactured products that adorn the kiddy charts today.

the beatles were pop. no hip hop artist has or will ever get the credibility that they had. and if you know anything about the origins of hip hop, it was the 1960 shadows hit 'apache' that influenced the first hip hop artists in new york, incredibly they cite that as the inspiration.

Rob - this guy's a Backstreet Boys fan, too - so I'm guessing he's REALLY going to be able to educate you on this 'underground hip hop'. Ahem.

hey Dino - as you're intent on acting stoopid and are obviously rather keen to display your staggering lack of knowledge on here, I have to take you back to your post lauding Eminem and 2Pac - is this REALLY your idea of what hip-hop is? If it is, I suggest you read up on thisispop's link - it's obvious you nothing whatsoever about the genre we're discussing here.

"Rock music is better than anything The Beatles ever did" - discuss. WHAT rock music? And, as The Beatles nigh-on invented music as we know it - your knowledge on this subject would be more than interesting to read.

And following trends is for people who can't think of a 'trend' of their own. How boring to wear what everyone else is wearing, to be seen in the same boring old high-street names everyone else is wearing. Don't you have a brain of your own? Any individuality of your own? I pity you....

And as for you being my b**ch - I think you're failing so badly in this thread, from all angles, you're making yourself seem to be EVERYONE'S b**ch. Darling.

did i say that eminem & 2pac was my ideo of what hiphop is???

"It" asked for credible hiphop artist and well respected so i namded

them i could have named rakim,ll cool j,krs-1 etc etc

and whoa re you calling me well weaqring jean and a simple shirt

its not unique either is it???

people wear what they want to wear its sad that you judge people

of what they wear instead of ...eh nevermind you´ll never get it anyway.

im nobodys b**ch get that damn it!!!!!!!!

what don´tyougolisten to some disco music ok???

that make you feel so much better "girl" :P

'disco'? Sorry? What iddiot notion gave you the idea I liked 'disco' music? You don't even know what disco music is.

And excuse me while I pick myself up from the floor laughing... LLCoolJ is a RESPECTED hiphop artist? And Eminem CREDIBLE??????

Oh please - you know NOTHING. If you're intent on arguing with the grown-ups, at least try HAVING an argument and a knowledge of what you're trying to say. It does help, you know, darling.

I'd go back to masturbating over your Take That albums if I were you, sonny. Sweden obviously hasn't caught up with the rest of the world with music and trends, it seems, if your deluded 'opinions' are anything to go by.

You're hilarious, darling. I'm enjoying seeing you get battered and humiliate yourself with every post you illiterately make. Wonderful.

an not seen as a joke anymore like when he first came onl y a fool l ike you would say eminem is not a credible artist.

And So is Dr.Dre.

what has sweden has to do with this???

abba is disco, boney m is dicso, baccara is dico

and donna sumer used to be dico at times too

and diana ross used to be disaco to in the la te 70´s and early 80´s

masturbating over take that album??? puhlease

im not like you kid and who the **** is sonny???

is that your invisible friend maybe???

Out of that lot? Public Enemy without a doubt. As someone raised on Punk, I can recognise the anger and the wish on the part of Chuck D to just fukk sh!t up, cause a riot and just generally shake the apathy and complacency of Middle America to its foundations. Respect the man, he is absolutely correct in just about everything he says, especially on albums like "Fear of a Black Planet" and "It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back"...

Later on Chuck would mourn what Rap/Hip Hop was to become (50 Cent, Eminem, the "Gangsta" stuff) and how Rap would become commercialised, de-politicised and commodified to fit into the same Middle American values that Rap once criticised and lambasted. Again, he was right....
