Awhh.. I think Killer Love should have been the next single. Or possibly Club Banger Nation.

For me, Wet sounds a bit too close to being an inferior version of some of Rihanna's recent hits (S&M, Only Girl In The World). But I guess seeing as that sound sold well, it's the logical choice. And Wet is at least catchy, anyhow.

 

Shame the sound on Poison proved to be less popular. I really liked it and it was what made me listen to her album in the first place.

 

What is the thing she's wearing on the single cover? A coat or a giant, malformed, cuddly toy? o.O

If they got rid of that thing in the background it would look alright. I like how they have the text, the cover should have been Nicole in a sauna like Britney in the Womanizer video.

Anyway, I like 'Wet'. It's not exactly original but it has got at least a bit of a unique sound and isn't a carbon copy of Rihanna's recent hits. I think this will go low top 10 a la 'I'm Into You', 'California King Bed'.

Yes I'm sensing something like #08 for Wet as things stand with perhaps only one week spent inside the top 10 but it wouldn't be the worst result. She needs a performance slot or two though, something like Paul O'Grady (is his Friday evening show still on?). This is the sort of song she'll absolutely smash live (the chorus anyway, the verses will probably be dodgy as hell).

I've realised that while 'Wet' sounds very much like 'Only Girl (In The World)', it's actually much better. I do hope it can be a fourth top 10 for her.

OK I had hoped for much more wetness and water in the video. SO MUCH WASTED POTENTIAL.

LOVE it :wub: so much better than the 'Right There' video. Would've loved a bit more wet-ness :P but her killer moves and body are just WOW.

Cheap but effective I think.

It seems very low budget - similar to 'Don't Hold Your Breath'. The dancing saves it though.

I think its a great video and does the job well, she shows lots of character in this video. Another top 5 hit I hope :)
