I warm up my voice which calms me down – I do breathing exercises.

I don't have a dog, although I'd love one. We have a family dog though.

How are you getting on with giving up smoking, Will? Have you found any interesting things that help?

 

Answer -

No, I have done four days of not smoking. Feeling really good about myself. Will reward myself with a packet of cigarettes I think!

Will, I'm a huge fan from the states, but have never heard you perform live. Do you have any plans to come perform in the US?

 

Answer -

Get on a plane! No, no plans at the moment as I am concentrating on Europe first. It was great to go for the premiere for Mrs Henderson in Los Angeles though, and I love to write out there.

I was blown away by your performance at this concert which I watched at home, looking totally ridiculous in my 3D glasses! It would be fantastic if you could tell us a little about your experiences of the day there.

 

Answer -

I was very proud to represent the Prince's Trust at the Tower of London. I think the trust does really great work. It was a stress-free gig and was such a pleasure to perform with a live band and choir, which happens so rarely these days. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

Question -

Hello Will, my question is: Have you got some advice, how to train (and practise) your voice? I have entered Pop Idol in the Czech Republic and I'm going in to the next round... have you got some advice?

Get yourself a good singing teacher. Always warm up your voice – that's the key to protecting your voice. Good luck in the competition
