July 25, 201113 yr Digital Spy have this story: Alexandra Burke has denied reports that her upcoming second studio album has been delayed until next year. Earlier today, The Sun reported that Burke had delayed the release until early 2012 in order to avoid album releases from other X Factor acts such as Matt Cardle, One Direction, Leona Lewis and Cher Lloyd. However, the 'Bad Boys' singer has now taken to Twitter to respond to the claims, saying: "So, maybe it's time to clear some rumours. "It has been reported that my second album has been delayed until 2012. It's no fun when rumours upset my fans." Burke explained: "Just to let my amazing [fans]know that rumour couldn't be further from the truth. I have been working so hard with RCA to make it right for you all. "I'm so excited for you all to hear what's been going on and all the magic being created. I thank you all once again for your patience." Burke added that she would never rush-release her album, but if any such delay did occur, she would let her fans know first. "Music should never be rushed. If I feel it isn't ready, then I won't release it till it is. But if that's the case you will hear it from me first," she insisted. The 2008 X Factor winner has been working on the new record since last November. She previously told Digital Spy that the new album will "be a lot sexier and a lot more fun" than 2009's Overcome. It sounds like it will it will be out this year then, otherwise she wouldn't have caused such a fuss over the reported delay.
July 26, 201113 yr I doubt she will miss out on the Christmas sales period for a release, in the studio with Rico Love they play a good song at the beginning not sure who the male voice is. http://www.twitvid.com/EAJDM
July 26, 201113 yr I like Alex but clearly this Rico Love hasn't worked with many people to name her the Greatest of all time.
July 26, 201113 yr I like Alex but clearly this Rico Love hasn't worked with many people to name her the Greatest of all time. Actually Rico has been in the business along time but he was clearly just being nice.He has an impressive list of credits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rico_Love_discography
July 26, 201113 yr Rico Love is BRILLIANT. I hope he and Alex can create another 'All Night Long' EDIT: I'm also liking that little snippet a lot too! HURRY UP PLEASE ALEX :(

October 10, 201113 yr Officially confirmed to be released next year. She's also executive producing the album, which I'm sure Buzzjack is delighted to hear. Link.
October 29, 201113 yr It will be interesting to see how Louis is considering he slags her off every chance he gets. Dan Wootton Amazing news that Alexandra Burke is filling in for Kelly Rowland tonight. Great choice. Someone who completely knows the process. #xfactor
October 29, 201113 yr I've also heard Simon mooted, for all we know Des'ree could walk on as the guest judge. I'm taking Dan Woottoon as a more credible source that random person on DS and random person on Twitter though.
October 29, 201113 yr I will not be convinced until we see her walk on that stage. If Pixie was given a guest judge role last year not sure why Alex was not. She did it on SYTYCD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSG5VMAx6-U
October 29, 201113 yr RyanJL Lovely little chat with @alexandramusic - new single going to radio in a few weeks! Of ex-Buzzjack fame and now a reporter for DS - it came from the horse's mouth, but she has "lied" a few times already, but with the current X Factor exposure, it'd be silly to not have music out! Can't wait for it :D
October 29, 201113 yr I'll mirror what I said in the X Factor thread, she was the highlight of the show for me.com
October 30, 201113 yr She was amazing on X Factor as a judge, she was the one speaking the most sense! And she was hilarious.com. Don't get the hate for her ... she's got one of the best personalities of all X Factor contestants imo! SO excited for new music from her. New 'All Night Long' please
December 1, 201113 yr 10 Start Without You 11 The Silence 08 Bad Boys 10 All Night Long (Pitbull free, 7 with Pitbull) 09 Perfect 05 What Happens On The Dancefloor - it's basically a Cobra Starship track 09 Before The Rain 08 Broken Heels 05 Good Night Good Morning 03 Bury Me (6 Feet Under) 10 Dumb 10 Overcome 08 Gotta Go 07 You Broke My Heart 02 Nothing But The Girl 07 They Don't Know 09 Hallelujah 08 It's Over 06 Dangerous I can't say the prospect of a more dancey album fills me with glee, I'd much rather her go for some big ballads although that would be less commercial in all likelihood. Still if it's stuff along the lines of All Night Long I'll be happy enough.
December 1, 201113 yr ^^^^^ I agree I think Alex does not showcase her soulful ballad voice enough. I like her uptempo numbers but nothing beats The Silence plus she was sensational at The MJ gig doing this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aED1GTZvLA
