aww just f*** off!!!!

Β

Watch it. I don't want to give out warnings to deluded defensive fans who can't take a joke but I will if I have to.

Β

(And for the record, I can't believe it's Toby in the right here :drama:, as obvious and basic as his joke was)

Very Mature.

Elephant didin't even enter USA iTunes top 1000.

There is no need for you to always start trouble.

I prefer HOH to Overcome but would have liked an additional ballad, there was no need to include at least two of the tracks that sound like filler.

Next single should be Oh La La or Between the Sheets.

She got more chance than pixie lott.

Tbf Pixie Lott has got a number 1 and 2 further top 10 hits (3 if you count Bright Lights) this era, the album didn't sell fantastically and it was a flop era compared to Turn It Up but Pixie didn't do badly at all. There's need for you to bring Pixie into this as an immature response to Lee simply saying that this era hasn't gone well... Of course he'll just do the same if you have now  But I don't see why they have to be compared just because Lee likes Pixie and Alexandra (as a fact) isn't doing well this era....

Β

(ftr I much prefer Alexandra to Pixie!)

Cue X Factor voice-over man: β€œShe’s sold over four million records worldwide, had four UK number one singles and earned three Brit award nominations...”

Β

But, still, Alexandra Burke is being shunned by Radio 1 and Global Radio group which includes Capital FM, Heart FM and LBC radio – and she’s not a happy camper.

Β

While the 2008 X Factor winner remains a firm favourite with TV music networks and regional radio, execs at the major national broadcasters are refusing to put new single Let It Go on their A, B or C playlists.

Β

Which, basically, is the equivalent of being in musical Siberia.

Β

Says Alex: β€œObviously it’s disappointing. But what can I do? The main thing for me is I’m proud of my music and the fans all love what I’m doing.

Β

"They have all been great. I’m no longer with Simon Cowell’s label – perhaps this says it all.”

Β

The star, 23, whose debut single Hallelujah sold more copies in a day than any other European chart entry in history, is currently signed to RCA Records after being released by Cowell’s Syco label.

Β

Despite this, last year Alexandra was the first former contestant to be asked back by Cowell, 52, to be a guest judge on the hit talent show.

Β

A source said last night: β€œIt is incredibly frustrating for Alex.

Β

β€œHer last single, Elephant, was a massive hit with fans and despite no radio airplay reached number three in the charts.

Β

"Off the back of this, Radio 1 and Global should automatically have A-play-listed her.

Β

β€œInstead they haven’t and Alexandra has had to rely on TV play and the support and loyalty of her dedicated fans.”

Β

The source told me: β€œThe feeling amongst her camp is that the BBC should be backing young, British talent, rather than making an example of her now she’s no longer with Simon Cowell.”

Β

2012 has been a mixed year for Ms Burke.

Interesting article about the radio snub.

There is no need for you to always start trouble.

I'm just not delluded as some of you guys.

HOH #25 in Ireland.

Edited by HaHa2011

I'm honestly not sure this album is headed top 10, even in this woeful sales climate. I'm tempted to say #12 on about 8k.

25 in Ireland is bad considering All Night Long peaked at 1

Β

The album is #25 on itunes, 'Let It Go' peaked at 41 in ireland. Unless your getting the album titles mixed up and calling Overcome, 'All Night Long'

I'm honestly not sure this album is headed top 10, even in this woeful sales climate. I'm tempted to say #12 on about 8k.

Β

This really. As I think I said yesterday, I'd like to think it can get to #1 with the fanbase but if even they can't be bothered buying the single then I don't hold out hope for the album. I'm a little more optimistic than your prediction though, I'd say it can peak at #6/#7 and maybe push 10k.

Things really aren't looking good at all for her. Shame really, she has so much potential but she's been marketed completely wrong. They need to do a huge image and maybe even sound overhaul for album 3 (if there even is one!).

I think she'll go to #1 but have a chart run/sales like Marina and the Diamonds (i.e a bad one).

Β

Cover Drive went to #14 with 8K sales, so if Alexandra misses the top 10 then she's basically got roughly the same amount of fans as them.

Whether she charts at #1 (with 20k) or #14 (with 7k), neither will be impressive enough to save this era from being an entire disaster.
