Oh at long sodding last. And it only took 20 odd rounds of me complaining to get 'Monster' eliminated. After some brief consideration I went with My Chemical Romance this round - it shows initial promise but then just descends to cheap blandness.

It was always the other way round for me with that song. :D The beginning was a bit boring, but after a minute or so if becomes awesome!!

Scissor Sisters - I dont feel like dancin
The first minute or so is fantastic, then it's just generic emo tosh that to these ears is unidentifiable from the majority of MCR songs.

Have to agree! First minute was incredible!

lol. The first minute is awesome and the rest of the song sucks? I think some people are getting it mixed up with Imma Be.

I do agree that it sounds very generic though (generic as in rock generic).

Imma Be sucks from the beginning to the end!

 Imma Be is a LEGENDARY song. Deserved so much more than #55 or wherever it charted.

Not..the beginning reminds me the beginning of A milli (which i think you probably you like) by Lil Wayne, which is AWFUL

Wow, yeah, they are a bit similar, with the clicking, clapping and the drum pattern. And the repetition of the lyric aswell (except in A Milli it's part of the instrumental, whilst in Imma Be it's part of the rapping/singing).

However, Imma Be >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> A Milli.

Scissor Sisters - I dont feel like dancin OUT

So bad that MCR will go out in this round :( and Monster is one of my fave from that year :\

Let's face it, this poll was a joke as soon as JCB went, let alone losing the likes of From Paris To Berlin, Beep, SexyBack, Irreplaceable, Put Your Records On and Voodoo Child after. So Monster going is quite expected after all that.

DISASTER. Enjoy your mediocre final 10, BuzzJack; you could have had it so much better :(

FULLY AGREED - but it's always the way round here - if it aint camp, flappy-armed girly pop or faux-diva hollering, the gayers on BJ vote it out, bless 'em - let's be honest - I'd say a better indication of the best songs of the year are looking at these results - in reverse.

I voted Chasing Cars. YAWN.

People are getting way too passionate about this game. :|

 I feel that way sometimes. Only 2 of what would be in my personal top 10 will make the top 10 in this game. And then there was 2009 when I didn't like any of the top 4. :(

2007 went very well though, but that was a very strong year for music in general tbh.

This of course being the reason why Girls Aloud, Pussycat Dolls, Furtado, Cascada are all still in and possibly contenders to win.

OH WAIT.

The 2006 game has surely if anything gone against the BJ stereotype.

Yeah, that's why Akon, Eminem, the Black Eyed Peas, Ne-Yo, the Pussycat Dolls and Timbaland are all still in and possibly contenders to win.

OH WAIT.

This isn't too far from what I expected tbh.

Nelly Furtado is still in the running (and deservedly so tbh). Her other song, Promiscuous is not Buzzjack-friendly at all. Same with Beep. Beep is just a 2006 version of My Humps, certainly not Buzzjack's cup of tea. Cascada has always seemed pretty hated here (not sure why), so that didn't come as a surprise, at least to me.

Girls Aloud surprised me a lot, because it's a fantastic song, and is the type of song generally liked on here. I know Cheryl is very hated on this forum though, but they still did well with The Promise.

Christina Aguilera was another surprising one that went early.

You must have missed vomit like Shakira, Pink, Scissor Sisters and Rihanna STILL on the list, then, I can only assume....
