Good evening Eurovision fans all over the world! I thought of this great idea (I don't know if we have done this before) that we everyday review a entry. We give comments to one entry per day, and a rank. In the end of the day (or the next day, me or someone else find out what the average rank was)

Anyway I think this might be a funny idea to try out! So let's start :w00t:

Random.org have chosen Turkey!

http://flags.redpixart.com/img/574/flag_256.jpg

Will preform as #5

- Turkey have never failed to qualify from a semi final

- Turkey won in 2003

- Turkey have got the most points from Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Bosnia & Herzegovina

Yüksek Sadakat - Live It Up

It's a very good rock song, sounds a little 80's to me (Not that I know much about the 80's so correct me if I'm wrong). I'm quite sure they will qualify from the semi final, and if they get a good draw in the final they might do really good, but this is not the winning song.

Qualify: Yes

Winner: No

Rank: 7/10

Good idea! I'm sure we'll all be covering this anyway for those people who do individual review threads, but this is a good way of getting as many people as possible on board.

Turkey: A little too much like the sorts of dirge rock entries Montenegro et al were sending and failing with a few years back. I liked this at first, but I'm not sure why - by far the worst rock entry Turkey has gone with. The likes of Dum Tek Tek are awfully lazy, but at least they get the job done. Bring back Mor Ve Otesi! 5/10

It's alright, nothing overly special, looking at its standing in my current rankings I'll give it 7/10 as I do sort of like the synthy blips in it.

The UK never give Turkey less than 10 points, surely we should be in the list with Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Bosnia & Herzegovina!

No lol but Turkey have given most points to UK ;)

This really is nothing compared to the brilliant rock entries they had in 2008 and 2010. It just feels a little bit limp, without any real hook. I listened to it 5 minutes ago and I've already forgotten it. I'd criticise the production but obviously a revamp isn't out of the question, which may or may not push it up from a 4/10

VERY catchy. Ever since INCREDIBLE 'Deli' any rock song they enter (entering Hadise was ODD  ) becomes a CLASSIC and is judged extremely well by me.

9.5/10

Turkey <3 One of the better countries in ESC. Every Way That I Can is one of the best songs in ESC EVER

Turkey for me personally, are worse than Greece. Again, I don't know if that's because the UK overrate them SO MUCH that it annoys me intensely, here are my ratings for their post 2000 entries;

2000: 3/10

2001: 4/10

2002: 3/10

2003: 7/10

2004: 6/10

2005: 6/10

2006: 8/10

2007: 3/10

2008: 7/10

2009: 7/10

2010: 8/10

2011: 7/10

Ok so a lot better in recent years (DIRE at the beginning of the decade and in 2007) but none of their entries have ever made the top ten in my personal chart :(

I think 6.5/10 sounds about right. I like it, but it's a bit on the average side, I don't rush to listen. Nothing on maNga  Qualifier, but I don't think it will be top 5 in the semi.
5/10 for me. It's not a rubbish entry, it's juust incredibly plain and dull. It'll qualify as it's the Turkish entry, but it no way deserves to make the final.

Next out in the fire is... BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

http://flags.redpixart.com/img/419/flag_256.jpg

Will preform as #1 in Semi final 2.

- B&H have never won, best placed song was #3 in 2006 with Hari Mata Hari - Lejla
- B&H have always qualifed for the grand final
- B&H have got most points from Croatia, Turkey, Slovenia, Sweden and Austria

Dino Merlin - Love in rewind

This song will grow on you either you like it or not, I didn't really like it in the begining, but have grown alot on me. Very catchy song, easy to remember how it went. I'm pretty sure they will qualify, but this is not a contender for the 1st place.

Rank: 8/10

6.3 counts as Europroved? It's a very neutral score, if anything.

Bosnia: I DO enjoy this a fair bit. It's got a lovely lilting edge to it all - I really can't call how it will do at all though. / 8/10

It will be cool to see how the songs do after we have gone through most songs :)

So far

1. Turkey - 6.3

I think this song is excellent, the best Bosnian entry since Pokusaj (not that that was TOO long ago). Really heart warming and joyful, even if it is supposed to be sad. The melody progression is great too. 9.5/10
I love the Bosnian song this year. It's certainly one of my favourites, if not my favourite. Even though the staging is a bit crazy, the music has a special something; it's so infectious. And this is a song that feels "complete" if you get me. It doesn't feel like it's been padded out to reach 3 minutes, or cut down, and it goes somewhere. It has a beginning, a middle and an end. I love it and hopefully it won't have any trouble qualifying. 10/10
Nice enough, gets quite catchy. I prefer it to Turkey, and it's better than their entry last year (though I prefer 2009 & probably 2008). Almost certain it'll be another qualifier for them - 7.5/10

So catchy, incredibly performed. Even though Dino is pretty old he so suits the song and vocals are just amazing. Can't wait to see it live. It gives me chills and makes me sad all the time, which i ADORE in songs.

Bosnia and Herzegovina usually have ones of the best entries. Pokusaj and Lejla were my ultimate favourites of 2008 and 2006 respectively, Rijeka Bez Imena was in the Top 5 of 2007 for sure (that year remains the strongest one in Eurovision yet!) and i ADORED Thunder and Lightning (grew MASSIVELY on me after the performance) with Bistra Voda (vice versa :( ).

10/10

Great entry, far better than I was expecting from Dino considering his previous entry into the contest. Not so fond of the way he plays his guitar though as it distracts from the song. I rate it 8/10.

Next out is... SPAIN

http://flags.redpixart.com/img/559/flag_256.jpg

Spain will preform as song #22 in the final

- Spain have won 2 times, in 68' and 69'
- Spain is one of the big 5, and AQ to the grand final
- Spain have recived most points from Greece, Switzerland, Portugal, Turkey and Belgium

Lucía Pérez - Que Me Quiten Lo Bailao

This sounds just average for me, some good parts. It does sound something that Spain would send (not thinking about the Spanish) I would much rather see something else in the final. They have a good draw that might help them a lot.

Rank: 5.5/10

Buzzjack Eurorank OH ELEVEN

1. Bosnia & Herzegovina - 8.1
2. Turkey - 6.3
