Slovakia: Repetitive, boring, slightly dated too. 5/10

Slovenia: Absolutely incredible. Favourite of the year at this point in time, three weeks before the first semi. I thought english version wouldn't feel as strong as slovenian but they're pretty much equal! Also, i cringe everytime i hear 'TEN YOU LEFT', but it doesn't really matter. 10/10

Iceland: Nice one. Would've never won had Sigurjon not died though. 7/10

Sweden: Doesn't stand near the god-like Manboy. Should've so won last year. Anyway, back to the song... it's cheesy and incredibly unoriginal? :( 6/10

Slovakia: I really like this song, sounds very polished and contemporary and with a positive message. 8.5/10

Slovenia: Love this song too, and I do prefer the English version. 8/10

Iceland: Boring for me and I do think Yohanna could have won this year. 4.5/10

Sweden: Very good song but with poor lyrics. Even though I like it, I don't want it to win due to the 'hype' around it. 8/10

Slovakia: Nice enough, but it doesn't go anywhere. 7/10

Slovenia: Fantastic return to form for my favourite European nation, and I really hope it qualifies to the final. I do prefer the Slovenian version though. 10/10

Iceland: It's pretty good, but Yohanna would have been a far better option. 6/10

Sweden: The lyrics let it down quite a bit, but the production is brilliant. 9/10

I wasn't intended to post here but I accidentally did it, so I'll vote :kink:

Slovakia: average, forgettable, sounds like a third-rate girl-group ballad (which they are actually). 4/10

Slovenia: I quite like the instrumental! Oh, and the chorus is nice. I'll give it 8/10

Iceland: it's rather nice! 7/10

Sweden: The chorus is just what exactly I'm ready to hear at some Russian local club somewhere in the country in Siberia. However, the verses and the drums are very good. Overall 7/10.

Slovenia / WONDERFUL. Really, this would be bummed to high heavens if Xtina released it, and with very good reason. / 10/10

Slovakia / Less than the sum of its parts. Plodding, dull, and demo-ish. I expected better from TWiiNS. / 5/10

Iceland / Post-Yohannagate, this is far better than I originally gave it credit. It's INCREDIBLY charming. I'd have still sent Nott, but I don't actually mind this as much as I used to. / 8/10

Sweden / You've GOT to be kidding Jerick, Sara Varga would've flopped as badly as Anna Bergendahl! Anyway, I think my views on Popular are very well documented - it's slick, it's catchy, the drum riff is hellaciously addictive, the chorus is breast-explodingly fabulous, and it's immediate. The best track of this year's contest, bar none. / 11/10

Slovakia: This is just really boring, the promo sounded quite good as well, so I'm quite a bit disappointed with this. Like Tyron said, it's quite demo-ish. 4/10

Slovenia: Amazing, particularly the second half of the song, almost certainly my fav in the contest. Really want this to do well, and I think it'll qualify. 10/10

Iceland: Not as bad as has been made out, and I prefer it to Nott anyway, but still a step down from their previous two entries. 7/10

Sweden: I HATED this at first, but it's really grown on me; it still has some truly awful lyrics, but it's a great song other than that. 9/10

Crap! I didn't get to review the last few - only 5 hours to do so? :lol: Here are what my scores would have been anyway;

Slovakia - Plodding, but nice enough - very heavy drum beat is still slightly off putting, and the song never really threatens to go anywhere. I still like it though! 8/10

Slovenia - Pretty brilliant Xtina Stripped era type song, Slovenia's best to date imo 9/10

Iceland - Incredibly charming, obviously not as good as Yohanna but credit for sending something different to their tried and tested gay Europop anthem/ballad formula that they flick back and forth with. 8/10

Sweden - Fantastic! That intro/bassline is sensational and I think it's 100 times the song that Manboy was personally. There's so much energy in this, the self indulgent lyrics slightly taint it and prevent it from being perfect. 9.5/10

and the new lot;

Germany: This is really great, very haunting and different BUT it's no Satellite which was of course a bonafide 11/10 moment 9/10

France: Spectacular music, and I've grown to love the vocals as well. I'd not mind this winning at all - as long as Blue are nowhere near if he does 9.5/10

Belarus: Very catchy and trashy, incredibly infectious. I can't say I LOVE it but it's always in my head  8/10

Ukraine: The most boring song in the contest, I must have listened to it 20 times and I still can't recall anything about it. For not being utterly repulsive - 3/10

Germany: Love Lena, but I wanted Push Forward to be selected. Still this is a very unique song and very catchy! 8.5/10

France: This isn't my sort of music and I really hope it doesn't win. 5/10

Belarus: Very much a grower and a guilty pleasure. 7/10

Ukraine: Nice enough, but preferred the old version. 6.5/10

Germany: This is another that's grown on me. Very much inferior to Satellite, but still a great song in its own right, and better than what I first expected when I heard she'd be returning. 8/10

France: I take back what I said about Slovenia, THIS is the best song imo in the contest. Simply fantastic, the only slight negative being the somewhat anti-climatic ending, and I hope this goes on to win. 10/10

Belarus: Probably the one I'm most looking forward to seeing live, after Hungary. It's very catchy, but I think the originally selected Born in Belorussia was better. 7.5/10

Ukraine: Incredibly boring song, which is a shame as I normally love Ukraine (even last year!). 2/10

Edited by C.R.

Germany: A really interesting entry. My favourite in the NF by a comfortable mile and I'm glad she's entered something completely different to Satellite this year. 10/10

France: Bloody awful. I really don't understand why it's so universally liked. The singer is like Josh Groban without the personality, and his voice is even more intolerable. The only plus side is some of the music is good. 1/10

Belarus: This is quite fun, but I'd be a little heartbroken if this made it to the final over some entries. That said, it is amongst my top 10 of Semi Final 2, so if it doesn't beat my favourites I'd be more than happy to see it performed on May 14th. 7/10

Ukraine: Yeah, this is pretty dull and would be a 0 points for a country like Slovakia. This is Ukraine though, so sadly it'll be in the final. 5/10

:kink: 11/10 is not allowed, you have to rank again or else it will count as 0 :kink:

Oh just KNOCK IT DOWN to a 10 then.

Oh just KNOCK IT DOWN to a 10 then.

I did just because I'm a nice person ^_^

ops. i missed a lot... ok let me get back to it :)

Germany: i like it. althiugh i feel like something is missing. i'm afraid Lena is lacking some "cool" to fully pull it off. last year she was quirky and it worked for a song beautifully. this one. it needs more sophisticated sex, if you know what i mean. think "Fever" or even "Puttin' on the Ritz", it needs class, and Lena is too young to have it...7.5/10

France: i like Bolero beat, i like that it's different. but it's so wrong for Eurovision, i think. and i'm not sure he can get that power live. 7/10

Belarus: ok. i'm biased. born and raised in Belarus. i HATED the "ussr" song. and was pleasantly surprised by how they salvaged the song...well re-wrote it lol. it has that catchy melody, the singer is pretty, she has a recognizable voice, but what seals it for me is the hammered dulcimer, or how we call it i n Belarusian:

(stress on a). LOVE IT! i feel like it's in my blood lol please, please, PLEASE have that instrument on the stage and highlight it! the sound is gorgeous and you'd be hard pressed to find anything more Belarusian than dulcimer. i really want it to make out of the semis. but why, oh WHY, isn't it in Belarusian language? if there was any time to enter Eurovision with mother language it's with the song thate xpresses love towards you country, no? sigh... 9/10 (did i mentioned i'm biased? )

Ukraine: i heard a lot of bad things surrounding Ukranian choice. That everybody liked Jamala and Mika was selected and she sucks... idk... i listened to Jamala and cringed. then i listened to Mika and liked it. I can barely understand her English 50% of the time, but i guess it's the case for most easter european singers... after downloading the whole list of songs that song is one of about 15-20 i don't skip and listen fully. so i'll give it 7/10

France: Not my cup of tea, and way below "La Voix" 4/10

Belarus: Not as good as "Born in Belorussia" but still so catchy and utterly happy song 8.5/10

Ukraine: Its a grower, and I just love the music at the beginning 5/10 KooKoo

Russia: He is a very hot man, and he sings okey. His english is not good at all. The song is pretty 'easy' or 'cheap'. Would have thought RedOne would make something better. Anyway, it is Russia so they are 'auto-qualifying' so with this song I think they will do very well. 7/10

Israel: Ding Dong have really grown on me the last week, this is now probably in my top 10. I hope it goes to the final 9/10

Armenia: I kinda liked this at first, but now I find it annoying 4/10

Hungary: Felt inlove with this at first sight, absolutly love this tressure! <3 10/10

Serbia: Not my kind of music, but it isn't bad thou 5/10

Albania: She is so f***ing scaring in the music video, this is one of the entries I don't know how will do.. I think it's good enough to qualify, but I don't think it will.. 5.5/10

The Netherlands: This song have grown a little on me, but I feel I have listen to this song so many times before.. even thou I can't remember how it goes 4/10

Latvia: This is one of my weird likes, I think I will give it a 7.5/10

Portugal: EARRAPE! 0/10

Croatia: Is it just me but does she look like a horse? anyway, it does nothing for me 5/10

Estonia: My favorite a long time, but now I'm bored of it so it have sunk down to 9/10 for me

Romania: This have actually grown on me, I don't know why but it have 6.5/10

Georgia: It's like 3 or 4 songs mixed together, I quite like the rock part, I don't like the rapping 5/10
