April 22, 201114 yr I love the song, it's easily my favourite single from Loud and up there with my favourite Rihanna tracks. I love the single cover, but the font just looks a bit cheap.
April 22, 201114 yr Author I really hope she comes to the UK to perform it on Britain's Got Talent. It should give the song a big boost and hopefully a top 10 placing if it struggles to ^_^

April 24, 201114 yr Author Its #12 on iTunes in Australia and #338 in the US  after the CMA's and the American Idol performance, I really thought it would've settled around the Top 100 :( She needs to release it on radio ASAP, still no add dates in the US Radio  Edited April 24, 201114 yr by WillR0713
April 24, 201114 yr Seems a bit stupid to promo a song on one of America's biggest ratings winner, yet the song it's self isn't even on Radio.
April 24, 201114 yr So glad this was chosen instead of 'Cheers' or 'Man Down'! My favorite song off the album after 'Only Girl' and 'S&M'.
April 29, 201114 yr According to Music Week, the single has changed to Man Down (in the UK anyway). With all the video plans, CKB must still a single in some parts.
April 29, 201114 yr I really hope not ... 'Man Down' is the worst on the album and would be her worst single release yet for me :(.
April 29, 201114 yr There's a story on DS about it: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a31...ease-dates.html That only mentions the US, but it being said in Music Week suggests MD is UK too. CKB has already gone top 20 in Aus/NZ, shame to leave it imo. On Wikipedia, it only mentions Man Down being sent to Rythmic radio as Raining Men was. I'm so confused, I love both (two of my top 3 on the album, but I slightly prefer CKB, so would prefer that was single) so really the best two singles to be in a confusing single situation!
April 29, 201114 yr I have actually grown to adore 'Man Down'. But there's no question as to which one I prefer out of that and CKB. CKB would do well for her over here too! Her label aren't very good at picking any smashes after the first 2 or 3 singles, usually. (Exception to the GGGB era - FANTASTICALLY handled)
April 29, 201114 yr I like Man Down and it would be slightly different for her as it takes her back to her carribbean roots in a way. Not fussed which is either really. But California makes a change from her usual upbeat stuff.
April 29, 201114 yr MusicWeek still have CKB listed. I read somewhere that Music Week changed it to MD. Perhaps MD actually will just be a US radio single then, and the urban stations probably won't play CKB, the same as when RM went out to urban radio when S&M was out as urban wouldn't really play S&M either.
