Thats quite a big jump, but i wonder how much the number 1 download album sells or how much downloads play a part in the main album chart, either way its all good as its moving in the right direction and a 45 place jukmp is impressive. Maybe progress will be top 20 in tomorrows album chart?

Yeah Progress will just scrape into the top 20 I think.

See if Happy Now was the third single then they should have released the physicals this week and used the Comic Relief performance to boost it.

That is why Kidz did badly as they had release schedules all over the place whereas they should have had the physicals out the week of the Brits not the week after.

Just checked the Irish iTunes and Happy Now is 112. It does sound like the type of single that would be a hit in Europe though...Perhaps we will see new peaks for Kidz and Happy Now during the tour

Ya kidz lost out on the phyisicals been a week to late, i dont think happy now would benefit to much by havin phyisicals out as soon as monday if it was a single as its very close to kidz phyisical coming out and people may mix that up. I cant really see the singles benefiting from the tour but the album will, the album will stay around for a while yet and build up more sales in lower numbers.

Unless they do what they did with The Garden and release Happy Now exclusively in Europe?

I say this as I have remembered that they are appearing on life4you (Dutch programme) on March 20 (today) and will be performing two songs apparently and then they are appearing in Germany a couple of days later.

I think we will have a better idea of whats going on tomorrow evening regarding Kidz in Europe or a third single being Happy Now. Either way they both have potential to chart well in Europe, especially Happy Now.

Which ever single is released in europe they need to promote it to try and increase album sales, im not sure which would be the best choice for europe though, i think happy now might go down well as its very radio friendly where as kidz is also radio friendly but not as radio friendly, kidz though has the lalalalala part which is so catchy though.

Happy Now is a song that can be just sung though - without a choreographed riot and near naked people needed to help. Kidz HAS to be performed with all of that (doubtless it'll be great on the tour - but impractical for promotional appearances). Besides - I always get the impression that Europe would rather people got on with just singing a song than trying to divert an audience's attention away from it (unless its Britney Spears that is!)

I think you're all getting carried away with the 'third single' thing. I doubt there'll be an official one. People will be downloading Happy Now purely as a result of the Comic Relief night - the same way a load of other songs (some from the distant past) are being downloaded.

The third single doesnt bother me too much, im just so surprised that one performance of happy now has had such an effect, considering kidz was performed on the brits has got decent radio play, has a video etc it peaked lower than happy now on itunes which would suggest the song went down alot better with the general public than kidz did. Either way whether happy now is an offical single or not i think it could possibly enter the top 75 today or come very near.

Happy Now enters the UK Singles at 76

#76 is great in such a short space of time but im so disapointed it came so near yet so far, just missing the offical top 75 by 1 messly place.

I really expected sales to have trailed of by now, but happy now is currently #21 on itunes, i hope it can hold up as there is now a good chance this will climb into the top 75 next week, kidz is also holding on well enough at #31, so it could possibly manage another week top 40.

It is beginning to slip now, interesting to see where it is in the midweeks

Apparantly its an offical single now and released today, thats what they announced on 2fm radio station here in Ireland after playing it today.

I'm still not convinced its an official single. Apart from the CR one - there's no video and I don't know how they'd do promotion for it (less than 10 weeks to go to the start of the tour - so rehearsals will be taking up a lot of time soon.)

Besides - its falling quite rapidly on iTunes now anyway.

As i was saying im not sure it was just what i heard the dj say and was surprised myself, i was like in my own mind thats a very rush release as they have no video etc, unless they are working on a video and are planning a phyisical, but what struck me was its to close to the release of kidz, on saying that with it doing so well on itunes on the back of one performance they may have realised the potential of the song.

I think Kath is right, otherwise it would have been confirmed by now. It was the same when they performed SOS, everyone thought it was the new single including Radio 1 because they performed it but it was in fact Kidz.

With the Radio I also recall Heart playing Hold up a Light Christmas 2009 and claiming it was the new Take That single 6 months or so after the tour finished....so i would take what they say with a pinch of salt

Hopefully it will make top 20 this week but it needs to stop falling!

It definitly wont make top 20 i think its a case of will it manage top 40, i think 35-40 will be its very highest, but even if it managed that i would be happy, it will be interetsing to see how the album charts this week but with alot of new releases out this week take that may get lost in them, im hoping a return to the top 20 though.

I think there will be an official 3rd single around the tour time, in the same way "Said It All " was released during the Circus tour, and did so well.

I can't quite remember the promotion involved, but Play.com were involved in a big way,

I would love to see Eight Letter / Vienna released , it worked so well at GB40.

it was 29 in the midweeks today but it is falling like a rock at the moment
