Posted March 19, 201114 yr Although they have spent a lot of time on solo projects recently, The Killers have made a pledge to their fans that they will get back together to record again. The band have been on hiatus due to lead singer Brandon Flowers releasing his solo Flamingo album last year, drummer Ronnie Vanucci preparing to release his first LP, and bass player Mark Soermer also about to start recording an album of his own. “I’m anxious to get back in the studio and make some new tunes with these dudes,” Ronnie said. “The next record’s gonna be on our own terms as far as scheduling goes. It’ll come out when it’s ready.” He went on to say that he believes the solo projects to be “healthy” for the group and not a nail in its coffin. “We just want to make the next record our best one,” he said. “That’s important to us as a band.” I'm willing to wait if it is their best album to date
