Black Eyed Peas - My Humps

Went for the Crazy Frog, although it is a tricky year, I have a feeling the lesser influential crap songs (such as Mario :puke:) will leave later other songs which were more popular but less Buzzjack friendly. Such as Armadillo :(. I've still got to listen to Dakota!

Thought a bit and voted 'Lonely'. Arrrgggghhh! And this song introduced Akon to us, I wish it had never been.

SO many annoying songs on this list, going to be easy to vote one off every single round it seems :lol:

My least favourite of these are JCB, I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, The Importance of Being Idle and Dakota. Can't decide which to voted for!

In 2006 rounds My Chemical Romance went top-10 ant Gnarls Barkley went top-3, I think Oasis can do it too! The song (The Importance... I'm not too keen on Lyla) is very good and I wish it the best of luck. Besides, there are so many "go away right now" songs in the list, hence 'The Importance Of Being Idle' should do at least _relatively_ well.

Hip hop/RnB music (especially from America, and especially when performed by males) is more hated on here than rock music. A LOT more! I don't understand why people don't understand that still! :lol: Like last round how everybody acted all surprised when Promiscuous and Beep got voted out, just because they're women! Have people not heard the actualy SONG. Like seriously, Beep and Promiscuous are a LOT more anti-Buzzjack than, say, My Chemical Romance and Oasis (which I would say are pro-Buzzjack, if anything).

 

Mark my words, Oasis will 100% definitely outlast 50 Cent, My Humps, Akon, Sean Paul, Mario, etc.

 

And please everybody, don't act surprise when Don't Cha doesn't make the top 10. It obviously won't. Doesn't matter that Nicole sings on it, it's exactly the type of song Buzzjack hates.

 

I think Stickwitu could do better though, but even then, RnB ballads don't seem to do much better on these polls (see Take a Bow, If I Were a Boy, Unfaithful, Go Put Your Records On, Irreplaceable).

 

Female pop music does the best here.

No actually "Locked Up" introduced Akon to us, it was his first song and peaked at 5. "Lonely" was his first number single one out of three (Lonely, Smack That & Sexy Chick)

Although I voted Westlife (it just seems cruel having them in a music list of any kind), I have to say - My Humps is EASILY the worst top 20 single of the past 10 years...... I seriously cannot think of a worse one....

Among the utter crap there are some gems. I adore 'Push The Button', 'We Belong Together', 'Get Right', 'Since U Been Gone', 'Pon De Replay', 'Crazy Chick' and 'One Thing' :wub:.

Crazy Frog is clearly out :lol:
