Will Young starts work on new album

 

Will Young has started recording a new album with Sugababes songwriterRichard X.

 

The singer is currently in the studio working on tracks for the follow up to his 2008 album 'Let It Go'.

 

Will roped in X, who has also worked with MIA and Kylie Minogue, because he was a massive fan of his work with indie artists.

 

The producer recently worked with former Beta Band singer Steve Mason.

 

Will's new album is scheduled for release late summer.

I suppose A new sound warrants a new producer skilled in more of the sound Will seems to be going for TT and it just freshens everything up.. :dance: can't wait.

Will Young has started work on his fifth studio album.

 

The follow-up to 2008's Let It Go is due to be released this July.

 

The 'Leave Right Now' singer is in the studio collaborating with producer Richard X, who has previously worked with the likes of the Sugababes, M.I.A. and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, reports the Daily Star.

 

Young recently revealed that his new album is to be more "upbeat" than his previous efforts, stating that he wants to "continue to evolve" as an artist.

 

The star is due to run the London Marathon next month and has vowed that he will race in a mankini if he raises £40,000.

News reaches Dooley from Will Young who is a busy man at the moment, running the London marathon next month and recording a new album with Richard x, apparently Young decided to use the super producer as he is a big fan of Steve Masons recent solo album which Mr X produced. As if that wasn't indie enough for you Young is said to be very keen on the Hall or Nothing roster - now linked to Young's managers XIX by PR pro Terri Hall. and has been to see The Coral more times than Hall herself... it's not all good news though - Young has said he will run the London marathon in a mankini next year if he raises more than £40,000...

He Tweeted about going to NY last thursday (24th) so about four days. So it would seem he's on live with Miranda tomorrow.

When he tweeted about going to NY i didn't expect him to be on the way then..i assumed he was planning to go soon. :lol: thanks Chris.

So he will be back for the interview tonight.

 

Perhaps he's just been in NY for a few days to do a shoot for the American mags. :unsure:

 

He was spotted in London last Saturday, so it looks like a 2 day trip to NY, all work, no play and straight home again. :D

 

I expect even two days didn't come cheap if he took his team with him, flights and accomodation for all could run into thousands.

Knowing how close Will plays his cards to his chest, he'll probably be there for a laugh & we'll be left none the wiser. :lol:
