The singer describes the song, called 'Safe From Harm', as one about keeping distance from the bad people in life and looking after yourself. Young explained: "'Safe From Harm' is about someone who I know who can't really look after themselves that well and it's about learning to distance yourself from those kind of people. "Not finishing a friendship, but just realising that you have to look after yourself before you can look after someone else. With 'Personal Thunder', it's the most personal song I feel attachment to and I think its a good way to finish the album!"
