OH MY CHRIST THIS LOOKS SO GOOD.

Starring Saoirse Ronan of The Lovely Bones (looking completely unrecognisable here), Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett (plus a cameo from Michelle Dockery aka Lady Mary in Downton Abbey - colour me excited!), out next month although I'm not sure about the UK. Soundtrack is exclusively by The Chemical Brothers.

What would you give this out of 10?

I'm sure there's some HK or Japanese film that's a very similar idea to this..... Not knocking it though, looking forward to seeing it actually... Cate Blanchett is always good value and Saoirse Ronan is a very talented young actress as Atonement proved....

I've seen this and its really worth watching, had me gripped right from the start, and you really have to try and follow the story, it was very fast paced. And the music to the film was awesome done by the Chemical Brothers.

I really recommend it.

I saw this last night and it had me hooked the whole way through too. Great evil guy in leisurewear role for Tom Hollander.

I saw this the other night also, loved it. The soundtrack really is incredible too. Definitely something different for Joe Wright!

Apparently this has been leaked. I can't find it in english anywhere though so will have to watch it dubbed in russian (which i haven't done in YEARS) as i am really psyched to see this.

It was incredible. Film of the year. By faaaaar.

What happened to that family though? :(

DON'T KILL THE BOY. DON'T KILL THE BOY. DON'T KILL THE BOY.

I had that running through my head for most of the film, haha. I read on the IMDB forums that they cut the scene with the family surviving so the viewer could decide what happened.

saw this forever ago, LOVEEE, probably my favorite movie of the year. though i've only seen this, bridesmaids, thor, and the hangover 2 so competition isn't really high.

I REALLY wanna see bridesmaids!

just saw this and thought it was pretty good, loved the ending, though like mentioned I was confused as to what happened to that family.

Loved the "what did your mum die of?".. "3 bullets" line

The german killer guy's soundtrack is CREEPY. I LOVE it. Overall stunning music throughout the whole thing too.

Yeah, it was good stuff, but they just seemed to "forget" about the family... Now, I guess some would argue that it was so we could "join the dots" ourselves, but the danger is something like that can be so easily mis-interpreted as sloppy writing or editing.... The best scene in the film for me has to be the brilliant one-shot fight scene in the underground station with Eric Bana taking on multiple foes, a bit reminiscent of "Oldboy" too... That scene is just a work of art...
just watched this. was pretty good. some great action scenes, loved the soundtrack too.
