Posted July 27, 200618 yr Shyamalan to direct sixth Potter film? Tuesday, July 25 2006, 14:09 BST - by Susanna Regan from digitalspy M. Night Shyamalan has spoken about the possibility of working on one of the remaining Harry Potter films. The Lady in the Water writer-director was forced to turn down an offer to direct the first film, and although still open to idea he sees that there are some obstacles. He told Coming Soon: "You know, that Harry Potter dance has gone on a long time. The problem is that it is a living breathing thing now, all by itself. When it comes over to my camp, it needs to be kind of handed over, adoption papers and everything. That's a tricky move." "I haven't met with J.K. [Rowling]. The first one was offered to me, but that conflicted with Unbreakable, which was unfortunate. I would definitely, but I think probably before that I would adapt a book. I've gotten close a few times to adapting books," he added.
July 28, 200618 yr Hmmm, not sure how Shyamalan is gonna work one of his trademark weirdy plot twists into 'Harry Potter' though.....

July 28, 200618 yr well any one seen his latest offering lady in the water, its pants! He is too much of a known director to do harry potter!!! Even worse than "Signs"????, even more boring and predictable than "The Village"????? Nah, it aint possible....
July 28, 200618 yr Hopefully. One of my favourite directors. His first two films are great ("Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable"...), but something just goes wrong in "Signs" after a promising enough first half, and "The Village" is just plain laughable.....
July 28, 200618 yr Author His first two films are great ("Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable"...), but something just goes wrong in "Signs" after a promising enough first half, and "The Village" is just plain laughable..... i hated the village thought it was so borin. think he might have jumped the shark there, if not then his career will probably do it with the new film. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/3d/Ron_Howard.jpg i know its her pop, but aint got a nice photo of BDH
