Always great to see The Prodigy on a list like this :kink:

That's yet another record slain by 21 then. :drama: What was the previous record for April?

Previous April record was Arctic Monkeys in April 2007 with 227,922

Ah, so April was the easiest month to get the record for in the first place. Still a great achievement though. I assume all of the others on that list are first weeks though? :o

I cannot honestly remember this album being in the charts

They were from The X Factor but despite coming third behind Shayne Ward and Andy Abraham, they milked the "Mother's Day" effect to their advantage. As for Andy Abraham, he released his debut album the same week and entered at #2.

I'm seeing that TT's Greatest Hits is higher than 21 april sales-wise.

They are week ending dates so that chart was actually announced on 31st March 1996 :)

Actually having said that i've just realised that whilst Take That were actually in march Hear'Say weren't the chart where they sold 361k was announced on 1st April 2001 so they are actually April's biggest seller not Adele- she's second- sorry gang!

Oh. :(

Well still, Adele came pretty damn close given it was her tenth week and she'd already sold about 1.5m

I die a little inside everytime I remember that Susan Boyle broke Dido's record.
Wow - Gaga sold more than Adele first week :o I doubt she can keep it up as well as Adele though :(
