Opera is really not my thing, but this girl has INSANE talent - she's sooo much better than anyone on here tonight (bar Nicole ofc :P)

New Bounce are going to win :(

I'm getting a bit annoyed now :( Ronan was in another league, I've never liked New Bounce and they were flat tonight! Their odds have shortened, I'm not sure they're close to Ronan yet (he's on 1/6 and they're on 5/1 - on William Hill anyway) but I'm begining to think they're in with a shot :( It's deffo a two horse race anyway.

Definitely Ronan to win. :yahoo:

New Bounce were atrocious. <_<

Nessun Dorma to go back to the charts. ^_^

ha. It says a lot really about our version of the show when a girl like that comes on and sings.

My prediction:

1 Ronan

2 Razy

3 New Bounce or Jai

I think the standard was actually quite good tonight, but she blew EVERYTHING out of the water. Her voice didn't look like it was coming from her body, it was amazing.

Hmm. Just caught up with the acts I'm bothered/intrigued by. Why couldn't it be Razy and the other Michael through? :( The singer Michael, I'm sorry but I seriously, seriously do not see the hype what so ever! He's so dull and his voice is terrible. Not getting the appeal at all! :(

My rankings on the finalists:

01. Razy Gogonea

02. Steven Hall

03. Les Gibson

04. Ronan Parke

05. New Bounce

06. James Hobley

07. Jean Martyn

08. Jai McDowall

09. Michael Collings

10. Paul Gbegaje

I only properly care for the first two. But everyone from Les to Jean are alright.

After the final...

01. Razy Gogonea

02. Ronan Parke (He was really good tonight and he really does deserve to win.)

03. James Hobley

04. Paul Gbegaje (He surprised me! His own song was excellent!)

05. Steven Hall

06. Les Gibson

07. Jai McDowall

08. Jean Martyn

09. New Bounce

10. Michael Collings (Jesus he was just as dull this time round as he was the first time he performed it)

I want Steven Hall to win!! Funniest man on the planet right now.
I'm on William Hill atm - Ronan's odds have shortened, and NB have drifted :D

Why don't they drop the 'the prize is performing at the Royal Variety Performance' when Simon has made it patently clear he's looking for acts that have a long-term performing career. Unless I'm mistaken that means its either a singing act or a dance act (actually - forget that - just a singing act.) They should re-name BGT 'Britain's Got Extra-X-Factor Talent' and just make it open to singers/groups and the occasional dance act.

That's why I'd LOVE Stephen Hall (or as daft as she is - Jean) to win. Not a chance in hell of course - but it would bring the 'variety' back into what is, to all intents and purposes, supposed to be a 'variety' show.

BTW - Hello, Hello! I'm Back Again (back from my hols!)

And double BTW - that winner of the US Has Got Talent show just illustrates how greater the talent is in the States.

He's an absolute sweetheart! I just hope that the producers of Coronation Street have been watching ... and have him introduced as one of Norris's friends! The guy has a fabulous, dry sense of humour. Did you hear his comments after the semi's and whilst he was doing his pre-amble to tonight's show? I also love it when you see him with a sandwich in his hand!

New Bounce - nice lads but they were really flat in places tonight - not a patch on their very good semi-final performance with the Jessie J song.

Its a shame James doesn't have a chance as he was fantastic but I want Ronan to win anyway

She actually came second :o The guy who beat her was probably better than at 7/8 of the acts tonight as well - I'd only put Ronan, James and Razy above him.

And welcome back Kath :D

And ftr my rank is:

1. Ronan

2. Razy

3. James

4. Michael

5. Paul

6. Jai

7. Steven

8. Les

9. Jean

10. New Bounce

Ronan, Razy and James were class, Michael down to Jai were great, Steven and Jean were OK, Les was dissapointing but OK and New Bounce were just the definition of overrated <_<

I think that would doubly-prove my point.

Seriously though ... the show is just an outlet for Simon's music to be eventually omni-present, 24/7, all-year round stuff. He's not interested in any of the acts other than the singers (he tolerates some of the others) but its the singers he's after. He'll probably bring back Junior Showtime quite soon so he'll have another window to display his goods in.

I hate BGT and X-F ... and I'll hate Junior Showtime when Simon brings it back (mind you - I hated it the first time). But alas ... I'm in the minority as it seems everyone loves whatever sh/te Simon puts forth.
