Awwwwwwwwwww

Never mind, each to his own, I guess

I hated Cigarette Smoker Fiona, and considering it was the title track, 'Who The ****'s Arctic Monkeys wasn't that good either' :(

I thought Cigarette Smoker Fiona was pretty good. ^_^ Not as good as No Buses like still good. ^_^ Oh I liked the title track but its just far too long for my liking. :(

I'm listening to their album now, and coincidentally 'View From The Afternoon' just so happens to be the very song i'm listening to!

And as for the LP, in my case 3/5 ain't bad!

I'm listening to Still Take You Home at the moment. ^_^ I've forgotten how much of a hidden gem that track is. :o

I love all their lyrics

But while we're on the subject of overplay, it was actually Radio 1's constant playing of 'When The Sun Goes Down' that got me into Arctic Monkeys! I hated '...Dancefloor' when it first came out!

Oh I loved both singles when I first heard them. ^_^ But Radio 1 kinda acted as a turnoff for me for them. :( They were always constantly on the Radio 24/7 and I got bored of the tracks. :( But now if I take a break of a couple of weeks by not listening to them they grow on me again. ^_^

Listened to the album in full again last night for the first time in a--g--e--s! Felt good, but i'm a bit worried as it seems to be losing its impact on me

Same here. I'll listen to a good album for ages and ages and then i'll go out and buy a new one and then that'll take over for a while

Currently it's a toss up between Keane, Killers, Razorlight and Kasabian's albums

Oh I don't really like Kasabian's album. Its alright. Nothing special though. Luckily I didn't pay a thing for it though. I like The Killer's and Razorlight's albums though. ^_^ Not heard Keane's though as i'm not too keen on Keane.

Yeah I mean though I don't normally listen to albums on the whole a lot normally as I just upload them to itunes and listen to random tracks from there. ^_^

I wasn't much of an album person myself until a couple of years ago. Keane's 'Hopes & Fears' was the first album I bought... awesome album it was as well at the time. Coldplay soon followed. The amjority of my albums have been from this year, tbh.

I think we mentioned it earlier about 2006 being a good year for music

At one time my music taste was a bit like that (All over the place ), but i've slowly developed into an indie-worshipper

Nowadays I think most pop is c**p and I can't stomach dance or rap/hip/hop/r'n'b

James Morrison sounds like Blunt/Nutini/Other Guitarist-Singer-Songwriters with silly voices... not my cup of earl grey :P

I ****ing hate James Blunt

His voice grates on me!

My favourite album of the year has to be Snow Patrols.. with Arctic Monkeys coming a close second, and probs Razorlight third :)

The funniest thing is now though I actually think Your Beautiful is alright after hating it at first.

I don't have a clue what my favourite album of the year is. I've bought about 20 this year.

Might not surprise at all, but I hated 'You're Beautiful' when it first came out... and I still do

A quick head-count has confirmed that I have bought 10 albums this year... and an EP
