Was listening to James Blake's cover of Limit to Your Love and Birdy's doing quite well with her remake of Skinny Love..

 

So if you could choose one song on Earth to cover, what would it be?

 

For me at the moment, it'd be Everyday Is Like Sunday by Morrissey.

 

 

I would do a synthpop version and add a bit more strings.. It's close to perfect track as it is but could be more dramatic which my version will aim at.

 

Hmm.. Also all-acoustic could work.

 

Or maybe this thread could be about bad songs you would improve by recording a cover? Because it's extremely rare that a cover is better than original. In that case, I wouldn't touch anything Morrissey has ever done...

We covered Def Con One by Pop Will Eat Itself at the weekend...I'd like to cover Sheriff Fatman by Carter USM next.
