Hmm. Dynamite is very liked on here, actually, but I agree with the others. In My Head and Replay in particular, are absolutely dreadful. Seriously, seriously appalling. Even I hate them!!

But there's also songs like OMG, Pass Out, Not Afraid, Don't Stop Believin', When We Collide, which will surely all go out in the first 10 rounds.

I can see Just the Way You Are (hopefully) going out very early too. Female RnB-esque ballads don't do very well on here (see: Unfaithful, Bleeding Love, Stickwitu, Take a Bow, Irreplaceable, etc.), so goodness knows how badly a male-led one will do!?! (Although I guess we had Mario this year, which gives us our answer).

Well, hopefully all Rihanna's songs will make the top 30 at least. Rude Boy will certainly go early though. I loved it at the time, but I got bored of it after about 6 months.

Well, tbh, I like all 3 of them, but both In My Head and Replay are worse than their followups. (I actually love Solo (and Ridin Solo :)))

I really hope OMG goes early. One of the worst of 2010, although that's slightly sharpened by its success. Hopefully Just The Way You Are won't have recovered from its overplay, unlike Forget You, which will surely emulate Crazy's success.

As for Not Afraid and Pass Out (I'm not questioning DSB and WWC) I love them, but I get the image that Tinie is not that well liked on here, and Eminem. I can't really pin down Eminem. We haven't yet had a round with him, so I'm not sure about his popularity, although LTWYL will certainly do better than Not Afraid.

I don't understand why anybody would be upset about Pon de Replay going. What is there to love about it? Apart from a good beat it's pretty unremarkable in every other way. I suppose if Rihanna didn't end up being so big it might be easier to look on it in a slightly more favourable way, kind of like how Britney's earlier singles are looked on in disdain because what she is now (although most of my absolute favourites Britney singles are her early ones, but that's probably because I used to love her back then and now I only vaguely like her, sadly, so I have way more nostalgia in her earlier ones). Anyway, I'm going off-topic here.

As for the 2010 game, I'd say Helping Haiti, The Time, Not Afraid (even though it's much better than Love The Way You Lie) and Journey will definitely go out in the first few. I have a bad feeling Plan B and Cee Lo Green will both do crap too, though. Why would you think LTWYL will miss the top 20? I really doubt it will. I think all the Rihanna songs will make the top 20, and Only Girl is definitely a contender to win.

I don't really care about the 2010 game though, to be honest, I only like about 10 songs there at best, and that's probably being generous.

It's the 2000 game I can't wait for. I like almost the whole top 40 there :cheer: (even the novelty stuff brings back fun memories)

^See, that's the thing. I've kinda reached my limit with 2005, and while I'll know a few ones from 2000-2004, I'll have to look up most of them. So I'm most looking forward to the 2010 game, when I'll know all of them. I'm already preparing myself for 2004.

Well, Eminem was on Smack That, which went out VERY early. It was in my top 5 from that year, so I was kind of gutted. Brilliant song. I recall my response when that happened was "There we go. Buzzjack finally loses its last ounce of credibility".

I think Tinie is liked on here, for a rapper at least. Just that Pass Out is one of those songs you either love or hate. Kind of like in a Bonkers kind of way. If we were voting for our favourite songs, Pass Out would probably be in the top 10 too.

I love Not Afraid too. I remember saying on here it would be a sure-fire #1. :( But Eminem wasn't as big then as he was before tbh. And I was certainly shocked when I heard Not Afraid for the first time though, for many reasons. Very strange beat for an Eminem song, and I found some of the lines in it kind of cheesy. And I was a bit shocked that he said in it that his previous album was bad! :o I quite liked it...

I think I'll be like that too. I was fine for this year, and I think I'll be fine for 2004 too (although I haven't checked the list, so I don't know for sure), but I can see myself not knowing/remembering some of 2000-2002. It'll be a good way to get me to listen to some other songs anyway.

'Pon De Replay' was ok, bordering on average. It wasn't really much of a song at all compared to the vast majority of her later singles. The 'Good Girl Gone Bad' era was excellent in terms of singles. The 'Loud' era has been equally excellent. 'Rated R' and 'A Girl Like Me'? Hmmm!!!

I'm sorry but Smack That is absolutely awful and I don't even particularly dislike Akon and Eminem...

Well, that's just your opinion I guess, but I love that song to bits, and it's one of my favourites from that year. Plus, I know lots of people that love the song, so it's not just me. Even my little sister loves it.

I could understand people finding the song boring, I guess. I mean, if you don't like the beat and/or the melody, there's really not much else to it, but I do think the song is incredible. I listened to it all the time when I was doing my GCSEs. :)

Although, it is relieving to see at least one person on this forum who "doesn't particularly dislike Akon".
