Gutted that Kristin is only going to be in one (iirc?) episode, due to the injury she picked up on set. But the new season looks amazing.

Scrap that, Cheno's back for at least another episode. She tweeted a picture of her on set yesterday.

IS THAT YOU SYDNEY BRISTOW?

I did laugh when I saw the choreographed fighting. Also, the lack of the MIGHTY Christine Baranski is upsetting.

Christine has realised that it's best not to DILUTE her fabulosity by pissing it away on mere TRAILERS.

Oh my YES what a great opening episode. It had everything - David Lee being arrogant, David Lee being put in his place, Baranski giving some amazing GLANCES, Alicia taking some c**t DOWN, Kalinda fighting, Kalinda having rough sex, Zach being hot AND solving his own problem. Plus various sundry moments from Eli and co. Poor useless Grace though.

It was great indeed and I'm really confident about this season being even better than the last now. Kalinda in combat is amazing. I hope we find out more about what supposedly makes him so dangerous soon. It was a nice twist that it was Zach who solved his own problem rather than Alicia in the end. And David Lee was bringing the gold.

I can't believe she's ruining it for you either. She's amazing! THE ICE CREAM SCENE. Watching the first two eps made me realise kind of how rare it is to find a TV show where you completely believe their world. I don't feel like I'm watching actors. It's so god damn well written. I hate Robert and Michelle King.

The ridiculous storyline with her husband completely derailed an otherwise fantastic episode. Awful awful.
I agree with Mr. Triangles. The whole Kalinda/husband thing isn't working for me, yes the ice cream scene was very good, but the rest was enough to negate that and then some.

Can you honestly not look past the two minutes of screentime given to Kalinda's marriage? :D

The SLEW of returning guest stars this week was amazing. Nathan Lane is particularly brilliant, he's really underplaying it/not hamming it up at all. Carey isn't getting much to do though. I felt the case was wrapped up a bit neatly but I like the direction Alicia is going in/her gradual reunion with Peter.

I will say the thing with Kalinda and her husband is unspeakably DIRE right now, but thankfully it's not given too much screen time so I can live with it. Just about.

As ever the case was so very clever, I quite liked the resolution too, usually it works out for them in the end but them being kind of f***ed over was a nice change. Like Jark says the guest stars were GR8, loved Rita popping up again, pity they didn't give her a little bit more MEAT to work with but I'm not going to complain too much. Plus if you have CRICKET CARUTH on your screen, you better be GLAD TO BE ALIVE.

They just haven't made such a major storyline cockup like this before. Kalinda has gone from my favourite character (well, second to Diane *.*) to the reason I'm quickly going off the show. I feel like the spark is slowly fading elsewhere, too.

Nathan Lane is brilliant though, as he always is.

I'm irritated because I know they can do much better. They're making Kalinda such a caricature and not utilising her like they did in the first season. MOPE.
