Yes, there's a (geographically locked) preview clip out there and he's in it. We're also getting David Hyde Pierce in a recurring role this season too and Kyle Mclachlan is staying on board too.

As if Heidi could even HOLD A CANDLE to a first year associate at LG or F&A. Bitch can only DREAM.

heidi is all good and well and always appropriate tbh but what of the new season. are there any details out there?

john pls tell me as i haven't the energy or the energy to search the web and therefore u should do it for me.

I don't think there's much out there beyond what I said above really:

David Hyde Pierce is joining in a recurring role (his first TV role since Frasier amazingly) as a high profile cable news guy, who is eying up a political career in order to thwart corruption ETC. I can only assume he will be a foil for Alicia (who will decide to run?).

Steven Pasquale (him from Do No Harm, the shitty NBC Jekyll and Hyde doctor thing from last season) has been cast in an as yet unspecified role for 2 episodes, though the TALK ABOUT THE TOWN is that he will be Alicia's campaign manager, or at the very least someone Eli is attempting to put into that role for her.

Kyle McLachlan will be returning too and so too will Elsbeth (unsurprisingly), although for an unspecified number of episodes and also probably not for a bit.

U WEARING PANTIES GURL?

Clearly Peter is going to sleep with her, never have I seen such an irrelevant storyline get carried forward a season. On the season premiere no less.

Maybe Alicia will get locked up for something related to all of these drug dealings. We could get an OITNBesq season of The Good Wife.

Wow, I missed this so freaking much! I was hooked from the first second to the last. Brilliant direction and an amazing storyline
It's so good to have this back. My life feels that little bit more full and joyful today.
By the way, Matt Czuchry is SO FIT. Naked photoshoot, please!

OH

MY

GOD

Diane calmly walking out of the office, the heads nodding, the gradual building of the masses, the sad goodbye, the doors closing, the music. On paper such a simple scene, but wow.

Will this show ever cease to amaze me? I hope not! Everything second was perfect, again.

Does the Matthew process really exist?

And how incredible is the direction in every episode? I never notice such things, but The Good Wife definitely stands out.

It does appear to be a real thing, according to WIKI anyway. It sounds like the kind of thing Christians would come up in order to ''fix'' court or some other nonsense.

I thought the episode was solid enough, but I thought the Gloria Steinem cameo was tacky as, maybe it was just the Alicia's imaginary visions of her as some kind of angelic deity that did it, but it just felt a little heavy handed for a show which usually has the deftest of touches. Stunt castings are fine, but 2 in as many episodes, coupled with more shirtless Matt (which I don't mind, it just feels a bit tacky for the show) just feels like the show is cheapening itself a little in order to try and manipulate 'moments' like they had so many of in S5.

I'm probably just holding it to higher standards than other shows because I love it so very, very much, but S6 is definitely feeling a little OFF right now for me.

Oops, I didn't even know Gloria Steinem was a real person.
