I'm hoping for a proper Blake V Kalinda SHOWDOWN at some point. Although with

Derrick gone and Blake working for him, I assume he's gone now too and we won't be getting one. Seems like a bit of a wasted avenue to me, unless he is still there or it was just sowing seeds for the Kalinda story

JUST YOU WAIT.

GIVE HER AN EMMY ALREADY.

Things are about to get very different, no way are they going to cancel it after this episode.

OH MY CHRIST it was actually brilliant. Quite possibly Julianna's best PERF to date. She was seething! I really can't wait

to see how she deals with Kalinda now...

OMG i caught up and watching the newest episode tonight. EXCITEMENT.
I've just seen the episode with the murderer songwrite. Featuring some more FABULOUS acting from La Baranski, it's still feeling like its all building to something properly brilliant which is great.

Another incredible episode this week.

Jackie is such a piece of work. “I know what happened at your house” sounds like season cliffhanger bait to me. Julianna and Archie really do deserve Emmy recognition this year, their performances over the past few episodes have been nothing short of outstanding. THEY BREAK MY HEART.

SPOILER ALERT: Season finale promo!

Also, Sarah Silverman was brilliant! Didn't expect that. Did anyone notice the opening music was different this week? Definitely a lot more sombre (probably because of the Kalinda breakdown in the elevator).

Sarah Silverman was absolutely fantastic. I love that we got that bloody hideous cutesy lawyer back too.

The final death glare between Kalinda and Alicia was fantastic. I can't foresee how they could possibly ever be friends again now... also Jackie was wonderful. She's actually a real bitch artfully hidden behind the artificial smile of a social climbing old busybody. Talk about a layered character.

The ad looks good for next work but I don't know if they're marketing it right. To a new viewer that would look like a programme about a $l*t with two men on the go.

The end of this season has had some of the best scenes ever across the breadth of the two seasons. Stunning. Is there really talk of this not being renewed? I was under the impression its viewing figures remained strong?!

Most people seem to think it will be since the critics love it and the figures are bordering on decent but it's not a given and I CAN'T TAKE THE NOT KNOWING.

Josh Charles has revealed that he is looking forward to the season finale of The Good Wife.

Speaking to E! Online, Charles refused to give away any details about the instalment.

However, he said: "I can tell you this - I am really excited about the episode. It is a great case.

"All I can say is that I think [the finale] is a strong one and I think it will really have people talking and it really leads us nicely to begin the third season."

Charles, who plays Will, added: "The possibilities are endless on where things can go and it's ripe with drama, conflict and intrigue. I think it will be fun to see... Well, I can't really say what happens."

The season finale of The Good Wife, which will feature a guest appearance from Seth Gilliam, will air tonight at 10/9c on CBS. In the UK, the show continues on Thursdays at 9pm on More4.

Pretty much confirms it'll be back for a third season I'd say...

I'm not sure whether or not this means it has been renewed or not, but Roxann Dawson (who directed a couple of episodes) is signed on to do another 2 in July.

HOLY $h!t. THE FINALE. IT HAS TO BE RENEWED NOW.

The final scene between Alicia and Will was incredible. My heart was genuinely racing (not something I can say for most shows) throughout the elevator ride, the entire thing was shot wonderfully too. The writers are geniuses, typically when a couple finally get together the entire relationship becomes rapidly boring but they're obviously going to go in the secret affair direction (seeing how everyone presumes Peter and Alicia are happily married).

The twist with Peter was interesting and they've thought of a clever way to keep Eli around. The last few episodes have been sublime, reviews are glowing and it currently has 89% on Metacritic - surely Emmy worthy?

I am half an hour away from watching. I'm actually weeing my pants with excitement. It's surely renewed though right? Surely? And the good news if that if it is we'll probably get a fourth season too. HUZZAH. And I'd like to think that the show is such a labour of love (it certainly seems to be from watching behind the scenes/interview type stuff on youtube) that the quality will remain sky high.
