I don't know how many fans of 'The Saturdays' have visited their wikipedia page recently but it's not a good read. So I was thinking if any fans would like to get together to rewrite some of the most damaged parts? :coffee: (I know this might seem a bit extreme, but when sentences do not have anything close to proper English/grammar it's seriously annoying to read. The endless references to pointless news stories about 'The Saturdays' could also be reduced)

Here's a link in case anyone wants to check it out for themselves: The Saturdays Wikipedia Page

Would anyone be interested in this?

I'm sick and tired of editing that page. I updated it a few weeks back and since then someone decided to add a '4th Studio Album' pargarph in, delete everything I said and then re-write it. Like you said, the sentences are all messed up and lacks structure.

Other than that, yes I'd be happy to help re-edit it. Maybe once this edit is completed we should save a master copy on the forum so then if anyone decides to change things in the future we can just paste it back in. ^_^

Aww thats okay :P I think I might start with a first draft for the Headlines era

and yes I do post on popjustice from time to time

Can you believe it? I just editted it all of the Headlines era and 4th Studio Album era and they reverted it back to how it was before! Unbelievable! Luckily I had saved a copy! :o

The Saturdays started work on their 4th studio LP during 2010 which is expected to be released during Autumn 2011. They debuted a track from the album 'Turn Myself In' during The Headlines Tour In February 2011 which the group stated they wrote. The track has many similarities to their 2009 single Forever Is Over. During the tour, Wiseman confirmed that they will be working with Labrinth on one track for the upcoming LP . They have also been working with Alphabeat, Taio Cruz, Steve Mac, Space Cowboy, Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub to name a few. So far three tracks have came to puplic attention including 'Turn Myself In', 'Notorious' and 'White Lies' which will all apear on the album .

The first single from the un-titled LP is called 'Notorious' and will be released digitally on May 29th 2011. In April they embarked on their seccond trip to LA to film the music video. This is their seccond video they have recorded in LA, the first being the previous single Higher. Wiseman teased fans saying the new record sounds "different" and "fierce" whilst radio presenter Aled from Radio 1 commented on the track saying "didn't expect the Saturdays song to sound like it did!". The track has been produced by Steve Mac with writing credits from Ina Wroldsen and Steve Mac.

Aside from work on their next album, The Saturdays are also expected to release Higher as their international debut single on May 13th 2011 in Germany with the album to follow later in the Summer.

They changed that back to the crap that was on there before! Unbelievable.

Haha I'm not really sure whats going on lol  But the main thing is now that section is a lot better then before :P Is there a good guide online about how to edit a wikipedia page? It's all a bit daunting to a novice like me. One tiny detail about your new section, there is only one c in second. :)

Wikipedia falls flat on its face when coming to edit stuff - it's not user friendly at all.

I'll show you some examples of wiki code using The Sats 'Higher' as an example:

[[Higher]] - Hyperlinks the text to other wiki pages

''[[Higher]]'' - An italic hyperlink

''Higher'' - Makes text italic

'''Higher''' - Makes text bold

<ref>Insert URL here</ref> - Inserting refrences to back-up what your saying so wiki don't revert it back

Did you source the information? ^_^

You need source and references for every single thing you post
Also make sure you edit with an account and give a reason when editing as it is less likely to be removed. I requested the page be protected to stop other reverted improvements.
