Ya i agree, otherwise it weakens its chances of obtaining the highest peak position possible.

It's a very strange call because if you look at the top 10 this week:.............

1 LMFAO/Lauren Bennett/GoonRock 73,076

2 Bruno Mars 49,981

4 Chris Brown/Benny Benassi 45,564

8 Nero 31,152

9 Tracy Chapman 30,848

10 Mann/50 Cent 28,080

It does seem pretty good reading for a new single by Take That to do well. Baring in mind the only new release is Blue this week (which will end up probably around the same place as Kidz peaked) and LMFAO will fall to around 50k with bruno mars staying about the same on 50k it is possible that maybe 60k would see Take That go number 1 with Love Love....PROVIDING it is a strong song that catches you on the first listen and is not a grower and 100,000 Take That fans watch the movie awards next week lol

where's Kath gone? it would be interesting to get her point of view :)

Well hopefully it can sell but sometimes an unexpected song on the new releases can just sell like no one expected so i wouldnt say anything is certain, the lovie awards is good promo but im not sure how well that does ratings wise, i think its around 6 million so its not on x factor level, still though all promo helps.

yeah im guessing it will be about the same as the Brits in terms of ratings. apparently on mike steven's twitter account he has said that robbie's voice is sounding great so perhaps he is doing lead or joint lead on the single?

it would be nice for a number 1 considering the flood and rule the world were great songs and didnt get there

There are some people on DS who say some have heard (or know of people who've heard) snippets of the single - and have said they don't think its very good. Quite honestly - I don't know how anyone (in the UK at least) could have heard any of it yet. I'm wondering if they're referring to the song on LBDS that isn't named (there's one that Gary sings a bit of and it isn't credited at all).

Perhaps they saw the movie? Normally are a couple of test running before making a film available to everybody. Also critics get to see a film before other, or those involved in the distribution.

I'm not that impressed with Matthew Vaughn's films if I'm honest. Apart from RTW - I thought Stardust was a bit boring ... and only worth watching for Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert DeNiro (who wasn't in it for nearly long enough).

Kath

yeah im not impressed with matthew vaughn's films either just hope the single is strong.

i wouldn't believe the people who claim to have heard snippets, they are just chatting sh!t and trying to put it down before they hear it.

im more interested in whether it will follow the progress style or revert back to the circus/bw style

I would say by the sounds of things they are sticking with the progress ound so i think love love will be an electro style song.
yeah ive been hearing its got a sound of eight letters and the flood to it which sounds good! (on paper anyways) lets hope its a big track
I fail to see how it can sound like both they sound nothing alike.

I was thinking that!

Any more takers for the Family Fortunes #13 Game? On in the Lounge right now (see link in the Nigel Martin Smith thread here in the TT forum). New players most welcome!

apparently they meant its not as fast paced as songs such as sos, and has a more a take that back catalogue feel to it.

and as many say that the flood and eight letters are the songs that are more conventionally take that on the progress album, that is what i think they are trying to say.

that is according to this person who claims to have heard it but i wouldnt be suprised if they were just saying it for attention..

I quite like now the Flood but i still hate 8 Letters. So, it seams i have to wait to see if i like this song. The music from the trailer was very generic for an action film and not my cup of tea

its definately gary on lead (well that part is anyways although i heard that robbie sings lead as well in similar fashion to the flood)

honestly i thought it was shocking on the first couple of listens but by the fourth and fifth it has slightly grown on me, the chorus sounds good and the dropping into falsetto is very nicely done. still dont understand why they are releasing it on a wednesday tho

Bad artwork once again.

Not very keen on the song. From the sound is exactly was i expected, it suits an action film. Not my kind of music thought. Oh dear, a song more i will have to hear an tour without liking. Why the hell i bought that damn ticket? *gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*

I know its only 30 seconds but I think its dreadful. Maybe the other two and a half minutes will make up for it.
