Oh THIS SHALL NOT STAND.

I can afford a DNQ or two before having to worry about you catching me up :kink:

Nice to see Herzebania and Ojnoj doing so well this year overall!

GAH! :arrr: Curse you Alcazar :drama: Is this the first time I've been out of the top 5?

No, I've found some records of you being about 9th during XXIII-XXVI and 7th after XXVII. In the first contest this year you came 6th with Stick shift. Otherwise you've been a top 5 country.

Actually I'm planning to win XXXIV so (Phil pending) it'll be FSR ASHVANIA takeover next month :cheer:

WELL :kink: FSR Ashvania did take over but I don't think it was the Ania part you were after...

Yeah I know, pride comes etc etc WHATEVS.

Yeah I meant of the year, but considering I've had a number of 11-20th places (and one 26th) I don't know why I said that

So true :P

Concluding the contests XXXI to XXXIV:

Although Batidas’ consistency in genre lifts them 10 places upwards.

This is very pleasing especially as I thought SX 'Black Video' wouldn't appeal to many people. How wrong I was but all the better for it. :D

If I had a fiver for every time somebody has said 'I'm winning the contest next month' only to finish mid-table, I'd be Rich :kink: oh wait...

This isn't actually a statement I've ever made :o Mainly because I choose my entries an hour before the confirmation window opens - if only I could be as orgainsed as having them planned weeks in advance :drama:

Peter30 said Charice was a last minute choice and he's won BJSC so this proves that even last minute decisions can lead to a successful result.

I can't quite believe I'm 5th, but am yet to finish Top 5! And I think I've only finished top 10 once or twice so far this year! :D I'm ecstatic! Think I'll have to look hard for a good entry next time then! :D

It's probably because you're one of the few countries who remain relatively consistent with their results :cheer:

I used to be :(

Don't worry. This is merely your first DNQ. That's something even Rontvia has done before :o Numayania has always been in the top 10, so that's worthy of some recognition at least! You'll be top 5 again soon enough I reckon ^_^

I wonder how well Batidas would've done had nations been allowed to give 18 points when we won with 'Riverside' - we could've been edging closer to 200 points instead of 156. :D
If this is to be at all accurate it probably would be better if the 12 point contest scores were either rounded up to the 18 points system or the 18 point scores rounded down...

Let me guess, would Kopecka do a bit better under that system? :P

I don't see anybody rushing to make these alterations to the overall scoreboard...

Well new countries like Batidas or returning ones like Utopia, who did very well in the last couple of contests when we brought the 12 point system back, would definitely benefit from the rounding of the scores but all the oldies would not get anything but possible fall down the scoreboard. So i'm saying keep it as it was :cheer: Haha!

Well, everyone compared to the most successful winner of all time percentage wise as made even more accentuated by a more favourable voting system would benefit  If anything I'd probably lose out a bit as Michelle would've had an even more dismal result!

But yeah, all that would need doing would be a projection of how the first contest of the year would've gone under the 12 point system.
