Really enjoyed last night......really not going to enjoy work today though :lol: Took some good photos, might get them onto my facebook page at some point. My only problem last night was the lack of merch. They had sold out of stuff so quick, no tour programs at all, and I love to get those at gigs, and hardly any tops in size small (for my sister not me :P )

I went to see Britters on Saturday and I feel MIXED about it all. She's someone I've always wanted to see because she's my favourite singer, but I always refused to pay to see her because I didn't think it'd be worth it to see her mime. The gig was good, I really enjoyed it and I was literally in AWE at being so close (3rd/4th row in standing.) However, she proved my doubts entirely correct by miming throughout and putting almost no effort into the dance moves. It was a good show but Britney herself didn't really appear to be trying that hard and that stopped the gig from being "amazing." Even her "chat" between songs was forced and robotic. Plus points, her songs sounded AMAZING in an arena and I was four rows from BRITNEY - plus the dancers and general production was probably the most impressive of any gig I'm ever going to see.

 

I Wanna Go, Hold It Against Me and Big Fat Bass stand out for me. LOVED them. (Hold It Against Me really was a perfect opener imo.)

Well I seen her on Sunday in Manchester, first time I've ever seen her. Just like Slick I'd always been a bit sceptical about paying to see her live as I know her concerts are very much mimed and over the last few years her performances haven't been what they used to be. Anyways I have to see I really enjoyed it, it was a very fun night, Britney fans are very fun and passionate about her! :lol: she looked brilliant (alot better than I thought she would) although some outfits weren't the most flattering. I am still undecided as to whether Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know was live and whether I could hear her faintly in some songs ie. HIAM and Gimme More. As for the dancing, she clearly isn't what she used to be but compared to some TV performaces she was better and seemed to be enjoying herself although she did seem robotic at times. The staging, sets, lighting and dancers were all brilliant though.

 

I wouldn't pay to see her again but I did have a very fun time and glad I can say I saw her as I do adore her music.

I know right?! How on earth can you sell out of tour books?! That is just crazy.. I've never been to a concert and not bought the program.

I was so upset/angry because I saw them on my way in and thought I'd get one inside and they had all gone!

When I went to see Avril Lavigne as soon as I got through the door (I was one of the first 20 people in) they said they didnt have many left, so I got one, and missed my place at the front because of it :cry:

 

I didnt even see a single person with a tour program at Britney's show. What pissed me off more was seeing a sign saying they were only £15 :lol: Surely they should make enough to last the whole tour? or only sell certain amounts at each show and limit them, so there are enough left towards the end of tour :rolleyes:

 

Oh, and anyone interested in my photos, I will hopefully be uploading some tonight to my facebook page, uploading them there because I think they are pretty good considering I was sat at the back of the arena :wub: But I do have ugly tags on them because in the past people have stolen my concert photos :rolleyes: I'll post a link on here when I upload them :)

Thank you :wub: I was a bit unsure of the quality, as I was using the camera on 'superzoom' because I was sat at the back of the arena, but I think most turned out good! I took 238 photos in total :P

Your photos turned out really well! Probably better than ours did and we were right near the front (AND they look pretty good too imo.) She did look pretty stunning, I have to admit.

Is that an expensive camera you use? It looks really good! Mine is so hit and miss, but it was only £80-120 and I've mostly have it for the good optical zoom (one of the best for it's price) and HD videos.

Those were taken from the 3rd/4th row. My opinion is pretty much mirrored by Lukuzz and Slick. I didn't mind because I got the tickets for half price, it was a fun enough show and I was in disbelief that I was so close to Britney Spears. She's cute too. <3

I'm very passionate about my cameras :lol: I have a little one that I usually take to gigs but its not that good, I have the lumix one, a nikon (which is the one I use most for my photography now, also have two lenses for that), and an old film camera that used to belong to my grandad :P
