Two and Half Men's ratings are f***ing huge :o Did not expect that at all! CBS execs will be jizzing in their pants most certainly!

The Playboy Club started off well, then it got a little dull during the middle. I kinda phased out until the last 5 minutes.

Amber Heard was good, so I will stick with it until it gets cancelled? :(

Two and a Half Men was alright.. at least Ashton is believable in the 'womanizer' role.

Am I the only person that never bought into that with Sheen? He wore oversized shirts, shorts and socks up to his knees? That's not hot..

2 Broke Girls was enjoyable, I love Kat Dennings as she reminds me of Raising Dad that used to be on Nick.. ah, youth!

It's obviously just light and it was pretty funny in places, I think I'll stick with that too..

I'm going to have so much to watch, it's unreal. I think there's 15 new shows, plus the ones I already watch! :o

2 Broke Girls should've been really bad but I quite enjoyed it. Only because the two girls as so likable though. The supporting cast might be the crappest I've ever seen on a sitcom. The diner is full of embarrassing racial stereotypes. One of them made a joke about Schwarzenegger's nanny. It was not funny. Also it has that really, really annoying laughter track and all of the sets look awful. Typical US sitcom I guess. But I'll stick with it for Max and Caroline.

New Girl was surprisingly good. Funny (not like side splitting but gently funny), sweet, brilliant supporting cast (unlike 2 Broke Girls). That's already 3.5 new comedies I'm feeling confident about sticking with this year.

"Fox won the second night of the season with the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49, and CBS took top honors with total viewers. Glee premiered down from last season, but New Girl still eclipsed last season's premiere of Raising Hope when Glee was stronger. Unforgettable didn't crack a 3.0, but premiered solidly with a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating and nearly 14 million viewers. CBS was up across-the-board from last year's Tuesday premieres when it ran an episode of NCIS and two hours of NCIS: LA. NCIS bettered Glee with adults 18-49.

8:00 CBS NCIS (Season Premiere) 4.2/12 19.55

FOX Glee (Season Premiere) 3.8/11 8.91

NBC The Biggest Loser (Season Premiere) 2.2/6 6.09

Impressive numbers for 'New Girl'! 'Modern Family' debuted with 4.3 so everything is looking good and I have a feeling it'll be the breakout show of the year. Ouch at Glee and Ringer!

It got Comedy Central UK's highest rating EVER last night at 800k! The publicity it's had regarding Charlie Sheen has clearly worked wonders, episode was much better than I anticipated it being too!

Great for New Girl, actually gaining from it's lead-in, and I'm surprised given it was available from iTunes for free and online viewing links were floating around.

Not good for Ringer though, dropping 0.3 from last week and already going below a 1.0, certainly not doing as well as I expected.

2.5Men was adjusted up 0.4(!) to a 10.7 rating and 28.7million viewers, with 2 Broke Girls adjusted up to a 7.1 & one episode of HIMYM went up to a 5.2 too.

11.4 & over 30million were watching during the last minute. At the half-way mark 2 Broke Girls dropped from a 7.5 to a 6.7.

edit: New Girl already adjusted up to a 4.8 and Glee up to a 4.0.

Ringer would do so much better elsewhere without that silly 90210 lead-in. They don't fit together whatsoever.
Anyone watched Revenge yet? I'm going to sit down with it in a bit and I'm rather fracking excited. A glossy soap opera full of murderous, glamorous people is exactly what I need in my life right now.

"Fox won the night with adults 18-49, but The X Factor's 4.2 adults 18-49 rating and 12.14 million viewers was nowhere close to Idol and well short of Modern Family's 6.0 adults 18-49 rating and 14.3 million viewers.

ABC's Revenge got off to a nice start, winning the 10pm hour with a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating and and 10.15 million viewers. That bettered Ted Danson's debut on CSI's 3.1 adults 18-49 rating, but CSI won the hour in total viewers with 12.59 million. The Stabler-less Law & Order: SVU was last at 10pm with a 2.3 adults 18-49 and 7.6 million viewers.

As even NBC surely expected, its new comedies were down big from last week's premieres following America's Got Talent. Up All Night held up pretty well all things considered with a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating but Free Agents fell to a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. Harry's Law got off to a slow start and was pounded into dust by the 9pm competition with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.

8:00 FOX The X Factor (Series Premiere) 4.0/12 11.72

CBS Survivor: South Pacific 3.1/9 10.36

ABC The Middle (Season Premiere, 1 Hour) 3.0/9 9.64

NBC Up All Night 2.3/7 6.04

CW H8R 0.4/1 1.09

NBC Free Agents 1.3/4 3.86

ABC Modern Family (Season Premiere, 1 Hour) 6.0/15 14.29

FOX The X Factor (Series Premiere) 4.4/11 12.56

CBS Criminal Minds (Season Premiere) 4.1/10 14.07

NBC Harry's Law (Season Premiere) 1.2/3 7.30

CW America's Next Top Model 0.7/2 1.56

ABC Revenge (Series Premiere) 3.4/9 10.15

CBS CSI (Season Premiere) 3.1/8 12.59

NBC Law & Order: SVU (Season Premiere) 2.3/6 7.60" (Via TV By The Numbers)

Simon Cowell won't be happy! Beaten by the third season premiere of Modern Family! Incredible. Revenge did a lot better than expected.

I hope Revenge can hold onto it's audience as I really enjoyed the pilot, but it won't have anywhere near a 6.0 lead-in next week.

Excellent for Modern Family, let's hope it can keep it up, anything over a 5.0 in future would be nice. TXF numbers aren't what we'd normally call terrible, but certainly a lot lower than I was expecting.

ANTM ratings are abysmal :o I worry for the 18th cycle :(

Revenge was VERY AMAZING. Emily Van Camp is fantastic in the lead role, incredibly likable but also believable as somebody hell bent on getting even. Great supporting cast (Bambi from Secret Diary!), beautifully shot, strong writing... I really couldn't fault it. It got off to a far better start than I expected too. If it can keep above a 2.5 for its run then it's a genuine hit.

Ringer would do so much better elsewhere without that silly 90210 lead-in. They don't fit together whatsoever.

This. Ringer + Nikita would work so much better.

Big Bang Theory 4.8 + 5.0

X Factor 4.3

Grey's (2 hour) 4.1

The Office 3.9

Whitney 3.2

Person Of Interest 3.1 18-49.

Mentalist 2.8

Charlie's Angels 2.1

Parks + Rec 2.0

Community 1.7

Prime Suspect 1.7

Vampire Diaries 1.2

Secret Circle 0.9

Be interesting to see what Whitney manages to retain next week. Charlie's Angels is surely going to be a canned within one month affair, it has 30 on Metacritic. 30! Awful for the CW too although Ringer looks good to stick around with its other shows falling to similar or lower ratings. That said I do think on the evidence of the first two episodes Secret Circle is a better show than Ringer.

I'm surprised PoI didn't do better really. It is a very competitive time slot, but that's part of the point, CBS said it was one of the highest testing drama pilots in years and they had so much faith in it that they moved CSI from the slot it had been in for years.

It was a very interesting and very good pilot, it's crime & procedural but has a good enough twist for it to not be just another CBS procedural.

NBC and The CW are in trouble, their ratings continue to dwindle and it's just embarrassing at this point.

I'm worried about The Good Wife on Sunday! Ratings have been all over the place (unless you're a CBS comedy).

Some truly shocking performances in the ratings last night:

2.0 Blue Bloods

1.8 CSI: NY

1.5 Fringe

1.4 A Gifted Man

0.8 Supernatural

0.6 Nikita

It's not looking good for an extended order of Nikita at this stage, especially since it's likely to lose viewers in future weeks. Truly awful start for A Gifted Man. Not actually as bad as expected for Fringe though and FOX have said that if it performs at that level consistently it'll be considered a success.
