April 14, 201213 yr ... The Bitch in Apartment 23 wasn't quite as funny as I was hoping, but it was pleasantly amusing throughout. James Van Der Beek was the real surprise for me though, he was fantastic. I love that his career now essentially consists of playing himself.
April 14, 201213 yr Will '30 Rock' end this season or next then :o? Season 6 has generally been quite poor imo, the first 3 seasons were incredible but now I kind of feel like I'm just watching the show out of habit :(, also I'm starting to think 'Up All Night' won't make it back either, it's not a bad show but there's nothing really compelling about it and not to mention its season finale rated a 1.5, lower than 'Whitney' :o both of them have quite a poor mid-season average of 1.6, but I think 'Whitney' (although being the worse show) may be the more appealing option. I can see 'Parks' boosting slightly on its return (1.9-2.0 perhaps) which should secure its position as the 3rd highest rated scripted show on NBC :P! April 16, 201213 yr Pilot for Girls was really good and seems to be getting rave reviews. Apparently Veep is even better!
April 16, 201213 yr Veep looked a bit ehhh from the trailer. Girls has a pretty incrdedible 88 on Metacritic and has been described as the best new HBO show in years and years. I'll be watching that later. I'm most looking forward to the new Aaron Sorkin drama The Newsroom though...
April 16, 201213 yr Starting to fear for GCB now. It only got a 1.5 last night with that awful Titanic lead-in (0.9) and it's not on next week. I think there'll only be two slots for it, Scandal and Private Practice to return and it might be the latter two at this rate.
April 16, 201213 yr Ugh I hate ABC, they should've aired this show in the fall. The scheduling for it has been atrocious, seriously. The only thing I can hope now is that Scandal plummets.
April 16, 201213 yr 'Girls' didn't open well in the ratings. The pilot was OK but I think I was expecting it to be better after watching the trailer - laughed a couple of times though so will check out the next couple of episodes.

April 16, 201213 yr Game of Thrones is a ratings beast. Expected better for Girls but I did enjoy it. Whether it becomes anything more than just slightly funny/depressing remains to be seen.
April 19, 201213 yr Second episode of Apt 23 had a 2.6 which is barely any drop off, not bad. Revenge was a series low 2.3 but that's not so bad given that ratings are shit across the board. Suburgatory also down to a series low 2.0.

April 19, 201213 yr Author ABC's schedule confuses the hell outta me most of the time. There's just no logic or sense of any kind to it. I know they are holding stuff back for the sweeps but it's still infuriating trying to figure out if an episode is new or a repeat on that channel.
