April 29, 201213 yr Author One would need a 'forever' to prove this theory in the first place! :o For the rest of my life then :P I'd be surprised if it isn't somewhere in my all time top 20, possibly higher, by the end of the year.
April 29, 201213 yr The compliation has made me realise that the only songs I don't like are Austria, Montenegro and Georgia. Very impressed now with this year!
May 4, 201213 yr Author Just a thought, this is the first time in a few years that ESC won't clash with Britain's Got Talent in the UK isn't it? :D Will hopefully mean higher ratings (and therefore more chance for Euphoria to SMASH!). Clutching at straws I know.
May 5, 201213 yr Just a thought, this is the first time in a few years that ESC won't clash with Britain's Got Talent in the UK isn't it? :D Will hopefully mean higher ratings (and therefore more chance for Euphoria to SMASH!). Clutching at straws I know. It probably makes no difference but Dance Nation have added 'Euphoria' to their video playlist. I was going through the channels one morning during the week and when it said "Up Next - Loreen", I was thinking "ohh" and sure enough they played 'Euphoria' - it was the performance from Melodifestivalen, so still no music video yet. :( Nonetheless, I was really surprised to see the track getting some form of airplay in the UK. :o
May 7, 201213 yr Just noticed everything except Germany, Georgia, Greece, UK, Ireland and Italy is album only on the digital compilation. NOT COOL :( My physical copy is on the way btw, I won it at the preview party!
May 7, 201213 yr Author Just noticed everything except Germany, Georgia, Greece, UK, Ireland and Italy is album only on the digital compilation. NOT COOL :( My physical copy is on the way btw, I won it at the preview party! Most of them must have been changed now. The only ones locked to the album still are Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, UK and Sweden. Engelbert, Loreen, Anggun, Pastora, Roman Lob, Sinplus, Trackshittaz and Sabina are all available as singles, SO the only one not available to purchase is Suus, no sad loss imo  Great to have all but one available for once, my dream of Eurovision chart domination can continue!
May 9, 201213 yr Thought this was quite interesting! It's the popularity of each track on the Eurovision album on iTunes UK. Of course, not all songs are available individually but from those that are: 12/12 bars: Ivi Adamou - La La Love 11/12 bars: Eleftheria Eleftheriou - Aphrodisiac 9/12 bars: Jedward - Waterline 7/12 bars: Litesound - We Are The Heroes 5/12 bars: Nina Zilli - L'amore e Femmina 4/12 bars: Tooji - Stay 3/12 bars: Kurt Calleja - This Is The Night 3/12 bars: Buranovskiye Babushki - Party For Everybody 3/12 bars: Gaitana - Be My Guest and the rest are 2 or 1 bars with Nebo on 0! :cheer: for Ivi!! Definitely good for her and Eleftheria beating Jedward! :D
May 9, 201213 yr First clue that Norway might get a good placing is that Sweden hates it  Loreen is defending Tooji she said to Norwegian Dagbladet  She likes it :w00t:
May 11, 201213 yr The official Eurovision shop has released an e-book for the first ever time! As far as I know, it is exactly the same as the official programme but for use on smartphones, tablet and PCs of course! And it is only € 2.99 for over 100 pages which seems really good value! :D It works with all Apple, Android and Windows products I think according to the advert at the top of the shop homepage! http://ebook.eurovisionshop.tv/ http://ebook.eurovisionshop.tv/Content/ProductData/images/ESC-Ebook-IPAD3.jpg Edited May 11, 201213 yr by Ryan741
May 12, 201213 yr Stage looks incredible! Here are some pictures: http://www.eurovision.tv/page/news?id=get_...se_of_the_stage I saw some other pictures too showing the lighting and it really is fantastic! :cheer:
May 12, 201213 yr Very impressive! Looks like the green room is at the back of the arena this year like in Melodifestivalen.
May 13, 201213 yr @ Jerick, Freeze or any Norwegian/Swedish speaking people out here... hs0CyDrC54Y 7:04 - Are they talking about going on stage together if either one of them wins the whole thing? I'm fairly sure they are, but want to confirm :o
May 15, 201213 yr Author The Eurovision compilation debuted at #9 in the UK compilation chart, pretty good start considering it was only sold in HMV and stocked in the A-Z section! Will climb after the contest too, pretty sure the 2011 album went top five.

May 15, 201213 yr Author It's probably more a reflection of the compilation market dying on its arse whilst Eurovision fans remain ever loyal, than an indication that its growing in popularity
May 16, 201213 yr I have a dilemma. :( My college's sixth form May Ball is now on next Saturday night. And I can't REALLY justify skipping it for Eurovision no matter how I think of it, Eurovision is like my TV event of the year and I do have another ball in the summer, but I really want to make an effort as it's my last year too. A real shame though, I was looking forward to seeing this thing live. Guess I know what I'll be doing Sunday morning then (w/o spoilers of course).
