All hope is not lost, I've not seen an official withdrawal announcement yet but ESCDaily have an interview up with a band who seem willing to represent the country.

In another subject, does anyone think that the entries selected so far seem mostly male acts? Even though I counted and it is fairly even, it still feels a very "male" contest so far! More females please :D

Anggun, Greta, Gaitana, Anmary, 2 Ninas, Ivi, Rona, Soluna, Iris, Kaliopi, MayaSar, Pastora, Sabina and the Slovenian act vs. 13 male artists chosen so far. Doesn't seem like there's a lack of females.

I suppose the fact that I didn't think about Iris, MayaSar, Kaliopi and Pastora (due to them not being on my rankings yet) is making me think there is a lack of females. :D

In the topic descriptions underneath the Country 2012 title, could we all put the selected entry and song in the description? I think we'd find it helpful and make the forum look even better! Plus it'd help my OCD with things like this! :P

They're all in the pinned Entries thread. Plus once all entries are chosen nobody will hardly care about national threads, as all focus will be on predictions, rankings and general discussion threads.

Has there been any confirmation for when the running order draw will take place? Going by last year, the draw should be 1 day after the entry deadline closes. This would indicate Monday 19th March.

It's the last big week ahead, I'm waaaaaay more excited than I should be :kink:

I've been given the responsibility of hosting the eurovision party for this year. Is it too cliche to have the theme as 'come as a country'?

Azerbaijan will have it's final on the 12th of March :D

San Marino will present their artist 14th of March and the song on 16th of March! :cheer:

I doubt it will be anyone from Sanremo then, because there would be no point in delaying the song presentation (unless they want to use another song, which would be a bad idea tbh).

5th of March eurovision.tv said Azerbaijan will present their entry in 2 weeks :)
