Ignition and in da club are epic  So is Sean Paul Get Busy

Pretty much agree with this post.

In Da Club is probably one of the most loved songs of the entire decade tbh. At least with the people I went to school with.

I never knew this "R. Kelly is a paedophile" thing before. Or have I just forgotten it?

Depends on your age, I guess. It was pretty big news around the time of this chart in 2002/03 but it took so long to go to trial because of some really unfortunate delays that by the time it finally did in 2008 there was definitely a bit of an 'ehh' feeling. I think it was bigger in America too, though, of course.

My comments:

13.Mr Redz Vs DJ Skribble - Everybody Come On (Can U Feel It) - used same sample as Perpetual Motion's 1998 hit. Just noticed that this has similarities to Tiesto's Come On.

Of course! I was trying to remember what song that sample was also used on and it is of course the Perpetual Motion song from 1998 that I was thinking of. Yes, it's funny the similarities between Mr Redz and that Tiesto song. Although would we be saying that if Busta Rhymes wasn't on both and they didn't have a similar title? Probably not  Very strange that both peaked at #13 though...

This is why I like these old chart threads. It's nice to talk about these long forgotten songs. Last time we had one we talked about Dana Rayne!! :D

R Kelly

I love that he kept crap like Girls Aloud and S Club from the top spot

He also kept off Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body :snif:
