I think the one they show on MTV is the "VH1 Urban Chart" (http://www.theofficialcharts.com/vh1-urban-chart/).

There's also a "VH1 Rock Chart" which is different from the one based on single sales (http://www.theofficialcharts.com/vh1-rock-chart/)

Ok thanks, but how can they both be official???

I have no idea, sorry... I don't know how they compile the VH1 charts, or why they're published on the OCC website

It's very annoying, there should just be one official chart. All these different charts i.e. Big Top 40 are just pointless if you ask me.

Just looked at the descriptions and there is a catalogue chart which consists of songs more than 2 years old, I would love to see that :) Jermaine Stewart would be no.1 :) This would be ideal for VH1 to show don't you think??

...or on MTV Classic [né(e) VH1 Classic]. But the problem with that would be Adele/Journey/Tracy Chapman/Any other X Factor/BGT related songs would rule the chart forever :drama:
