12" & 7" refer to vinyl albums & singles respectively (though there were also 12" singles - New Order's 'Blue Monday' perhaps being the most famous).

Physicals for both. I don't like paying for products that I can't touch.

 

You can touch your iPod :P

 

Alright I get what you mean but you can touch your download purchases on iTunes and your iPod, I don't like physicals because it takes long time to rip onto iTunes an put on my iPod

I use Roxio Music Lab, so I can rip at the bit-rate I choose (usually 128mbps), rather than the memory-eating 320mbps that downloads usually come at. The time isn't an issue as I carry on doing something else while it is working.
