June 3, 201114 yr Author Whats Going On: The Martyn Chart I haven't done one of these commentry things for a while. The Saturdays who have their first number one (only due to the short time this chart has been going on for) are the first act to spend more than just one week at number one since Danny spent three weeks at number 1 with In The Club. In The Club (#20) currently has the longest consecutive run at number one on the chart, although All Over The World (#38) has spent four non-consecutive weeks at number one. Eurovision is still having an impact near the top of the chart, with former number 1 Eric Saade (#8) and The Twiins (#9) still being in the top 10, the Eurovision winners Ell and Nikki are at #12 after dropping seven places from last week. Despite being one of the strangest songs ever recorded and released. Rebecca Black- Friday (#39) is still sitting near the bottom of the chart, however Beyonce couldn't quite overhall Friday with new single Run The World (Girls) (#40) being this weeks basement track. Still not sure of that one over this end. Speaking of songs I am not sure of. If Only You (#30) is Danny's 5th song to make The Martyn Chart, however the other four all made the top 10. Just Like That (#6), In Your Eyes (#5), In The Club (#1) and Never Gonna Take Us Down (#7). Guest vocalist Freja is not the vocalist I would have picked to guest on Danny's debut UK release.
