LOOOL at GA GA!!! Obviously it was all because of giving out for almost free (well 99 cents) last week. If I was in the US even I would have bought it. This represents the real sales!! Lol

How is that relevant at all. Madonna is 30 years into her career. Gaga is on her 2nd album. Gaga will be lucky to be around in 30 years. Nevermind sell 3-4 millions copies of an album worldwide

Doesn't matter, he keeps saying Gaga this Gaga that but doesn't compare to Madonnas albums now. I'm only comparing it to nowadays. B)

Oh dear at that drop. Adele will probably end up overtaking GaGa on her third week is the US as well as the UK :o That is just poor. 21 will easily take the highest selling album of 2011 both in the USA and worldwide now (and UK obviously) barring some currently unforeseen circumstances...

Adele looks like she could possibly take the year end #1 album and single in both the US and the UK :o Although something will probably overtake RITD in the USA by the end of the year (and of course it's also possible something will overtake 21 in the US, but her positions look unshakeable in the UK)

Apparently she's sold 3.3 million+ downloads so far? And it's still selling 200k+ downloads per week so no doubt will it be the biggest selling song in the USA I reckon, however 21 might have a chance at losing the #1 yearly album.

Too bad for Gaga, as I really think it's a good pop album. That frontloaded sales literally killed it :(

I only criticise gaga because her little monsters think she is the best thing since sliced bread. It is ok to accept that this week there is a massive drop in her sales. And it is ok to accept that all her current singles flopped in the UK for her standards. I'm only pointing out the facts. And I don't know where madonna came into this equation just because I have a pic of her for my avatar. She might not be selling as much anymore but noone from up and coming stars including gaga will achieve her iconic status I'm afraid.

People like you expect too much, I wouldn't call Born This Way (the single) a flop if it sold 500k+ so far and will probably end up selling 600k+. Yes it's a flop when compared to her signature songs but that's a one off though. And of course it's ok to accept there is a massive drop in her sales, but this does not represent the real sales. AND people are missing the point that Amazon chose to sell Gaga's CD for $0.99 NOT her record label. This second week obvious doesn't represent the real sales if last week 650k of the sales were not from Amazon.

Oh and only reason I commented on your first comment, it's merely because everytime you post it's always a Gaga criticism or wanting her to flop.

I think she's more likely to keep the #1 on the albums year end chart than the singles one. RITD isn't yet in the top 40 selling songs of the digital era in the USA so I'm sure something could easily pop out of the woodworks and smush its sales. Obviously I hope not though.

Most #1 singles sell 5 million downloads for a yearly and she's quite close to it considering she's selling 200k+ per week. I do think she has it in the bag.
