Hi Guys

 

just thought I would fill you all in, I was on facebook last night and had seen that another fan had added Darius Campbell to their friends list, so being the very noisy person I am I decided to add this person all of the time thinking it would be Darius.

I then started thinking about it and then decided to cancel the friend request as most of the Darius stuff on Facebook is pages that you like rather than an add request.

 

So myself and others on facebook have been having discussion about if its Darius or not

I realise looking at it there is no add request that becasue I was trying to show someone who to cancel their request but where there would normal be a friend request on other peoples pages there is one on this one for some reason.

 

but when you google this address it comes up with this one

I am confused and I know you lot will be too, but I cannot understand why on facebook it comes up with the top link.

 

After a long afternoon on line and loads of chat we all think its someone online saying they are Darius when they clearly aren't, let face it if Darius had changed his facebook I think he would have let us know about.

 

I know its really complacaited to take all of that in and understand what I am explaining, I kept confusing myself over it so I am sorry if I do that the same to you lot on here but I rather be safe then sorry do not want my page being Hacked by someone.

The first was a private page started as Darius Danesh. It could be Darius' private page or not. The 2nd is a community page like Darius Campbell Unoffical. Darius knows about unofficial as it was started after a discussion with his management which he arranged. Anyone can start this kind of page. The first could be or not be Darius. If it is Darius it'd be restricted to his friends and family.

There's nothing to worry about as it's a profile sometimes used by Darius HQ for contacting competition winners privately.

Alright I was just kinda worried if I had added it and it ended up being a fake page and a virus was behind it, I know about the other page like the unofficial one.

I was maybe being too safe lol but tbh sometime you need to be like that online

 

I feel a bit silly now about causing a fuss but at the end of the day I rather that then anything happen to anyone

What's happened to Darius's facebook page? I'm getting that stupid timeline now and I can't get access to any attachments to see what has been posted there by others.

I was on Facebook there the now and I got on ok his page wasn't in the new timeline that it has supposed to have changed too. It's really strange! Not sure what's happen

I'd never got it before. Maybe there was just a glitch of some kind. Hope so! I really didn't like it.

I'm still getting the timeline :( on Darius's page but the usual wall on other ones.

Where it saysd Post by page between the columns, click the little triangle in the corner and you can choose posts by others. We no longer have a choice of Darius and others which is a shame

How do you find these things BT!! :D It's great to see Darius in such a well-known line-up but..... who chose that photo!!!! certainly not the best choice for people who have not heard of or seen Darius before!

Yes BT that is the photo at the top of his Facebook page but he looks too thin in the face because his hair is so short and slicked back(IMO)- a photo of him at Lincoln would have been so much more appropriate!! :wub: :D I have 'liked' him in Diana's album but I'm afraid he is not doing too well amongst all the famous faces - great that he was one of her choices though! It seems that the 'rights' to her series of Overlander books have been bought but it has not been decided yet whether to turn them into film so the vote is just wishful thinking atm. Maybe if it happens in the future D will have a bigger and better reputation in the US by then and will be a more popular choice ...... if that's what he would like to do, of course!! :D

The picture doesn't really do him justice. Few do.

 

I must trawl through the photo thread here to see if I can find that shot of the mane standing almost vertically mid song.

 

Talking about Lincoln, every time Darius embarks on a new project, I think of Helen. Such a terrible loss and so young.
