June 23, 201114 yr There's talk on their facebook page about having Now 80' as a triple disc! How amazing would that be? It would mean more tracks for me (who is living in 1995, and doesn't download music at all) that would be pretty nice! But I don't think they'll do that, I personally would like "Now 2000" and have them go up to 2009, just like before!! It would be pretty good.
June 23, 201114 yr that would be pretty nice! But I don't think they'll do that, I personally would like "Now 2000" and have them go up to 2009, just like before!! It would be pretty good. I think he means that the next album, (NOW 80) will be a 3 disc album, rather than a 'Now That's What I Call The 80's' collection put together onto 3 discs ;)
June 23, 201114 yr For NOW 80, they should have the usual two discs and then make another one for Christmas/New Year's parties! Now that would be amazing!
June 30, 201114 yr ^^ There already is a Now Xmas , and it's brilliant imo! Looking forward to the tracklist - should be revealed in the next few weeks. Some double appearances by artists who I'm not sure about, and which I think will make the album. Feel free to add more. Nicole Scherzinger: Right There or Don't Hold your Breath (both) Lady Gaga: Judas, Born this Way or the Edge of Glory (Judas for sure, maybe the Edge of Glory) Beyonce: Run the World or Best thing I never Had (Run the World) J-Lo: On the Floor or I'm into You (On the Floor) Adele: Someone Like You or Set Fire to the Rain (Both) Nicki Minaj: Super Bass or Girls Fall Like Dominoes (Super Bass) Black Eyed Peas: JCGE or Don't stop the Party (Both)

Kelly Rowland - What A Feeling Wynter Gordon - Dirty Talk Inna - Sun Is up I'm not surprised 'Fast Car' isn't on 79, It's never been featured on a UK compilation before I believe. And even though I badly wanted Beyonce, her flop of 'Run the World (Girls)' made it impossible, and 'Best Thing I Never Had' would be hard to get considering it's only just made an impact on the chart. I have no idea why Alexis Jordan isn't on this & the inclusion of 'Born this Way' over 'Judas' or 'Edge of Glory' is really odd. Unfortunately no Britney Spears either, major shame also. But great inclusions of Nicki Minaj, Birdy, Coldplay and Katy Perry. It could've done with a double appearance of J. Lo & Nicole Scherzinger. 'I'm Into You' and 'Right There' are fantastic and it wont be long until they release their next singles. Overall. a 7/10. Now 76 was a much better Summer Now! It had everything!
July 7, 201114 yr Why the f*** have they put The WANTED on there. They are crap No Alexis Jordan. What about 'Good Girl'? Edited July 7, 201114 yr by ukcsf11
July 7, 201114 yr The Wanted record is OBVIOUSLY going to be huge. The one I really don't get is Scouting For Girls? :/ Cee-Lo is odd too, but at least his album is selling.
July 7, 201114 yr I'm happy with all the songs that are on Disc 2, but towards the end of Disc 1 there are a few odd choices? Cee-Lo Green, Scouting For Girls and Templecloud should not be on there! And 'Finish Line' and 'Love Love' are a bit iffy, seeing some of the songs that have been left out. I'd rather 'I'm Into You', 'Right There', 'Judas' or 'The Edge Of Glory', 'Till The World Ends' and 'Run The World (Girls)' on there instead!
July 7, 201114 yr I have to agree, some real odd choices there... Templecloud, Scouting For Girls (surely they'll flop like hell?) and Cee-Lo (so awful he shouldn't be allowed on anything). Can't believe they snubbed Alexis Jordan, Beyonce and didn't another of Gaga's singles from BTW in place of those 3!
July 7, 201114 yr Templecloud was at least a small hit so I understand its inclusion :P but SFG and Cee Lo are pretty WTF tbh  other than that, a rather good tracklisting, glad they snubbed Beyonce :D it does look a little bit 'behind' of them putting Born This Way on, they should've included either Judas or Edge of Glory along with it Edited July 7, 201114 yr by Chart Wizard
July 7, 201114 yr Literally ALL of the features saved for Disc 2 then  I love the solo version of On The Floor but I'd prefer the 'hit' version on a Now compilation, and *gasps* I DO prefer the version with Pitbull! I see they're playing catch up with Gaga now too, surprised she didn't get a double appearance... Disc 1 is actually surprisingly MOR for the most part, perhaps the club banger invasion is slowly coming to an end?
July 7, 201114 yr NICKI! Nobody else matters. Although I would have loved an inclusion for Cher, but that would always have been debateable considering it's releasing after the Now album. I really hope Nicki isn't "album-only" as I hope it helps her get top 10 with 'Super Bass', finally!
July 8, 201114 yr There's uproar about this tracklist over on the Now forum-I'm glad I don't post there regularly anymore as I just don't fit in. This is not a bad list imo considering the state of the charts these days. I must be the only person who honestly prefers disc 1!
July 8, 201114 yr Disc 1 is far better and more varied imo, disc 2 basically IS Now That's What I Call A Club Banger whereas there are only really 2 or 3 on the first disc...
July 8, 201114 yr Disc 1 is far better and more varied imo, disc 2 basically IS Now That's What I Call A Club Banger whereas there are only really 2 or 3 on the first disc... That's the first thing I noticed too. I haven't seen a Now disc so dominated by one genre since... 46? Second thing I noticed was the amount of minor hits they've included this time, although I think they were partly forced to do so as the charts are slower than they were a year ago and especially compared to two years ago. But I make it seven songs that have peaked outside the top 10 already, with a couple more very likely to do so (Cee Lo Green, Chase & Status, maybe Scouting For Girls). So it could be as many as 10 non-top 10 hits this time :o And some of those outside even the top 20 (Templecloud and Wynter Gordon already). I'd imagine there were problems with Gaga's record label last time. They probably wanted people to buy Born This Way individually, but now the fact that it's long gone and the album is out anyway means they don't care anymore and have no problem with it being on compilations. This is just guessing though, obviously. I like the tracklisting though. I did say a couple of pages back that I like it when the two discs have a different vibe and I think they definitely do this time.
July 8, 201114 yr Why wouldnt there be many club bangers? NOW Cd's have always reflected (for the most part) chart popularity, and club music is far and away the most popular genre. Had they included loads of flop indie songs I would've raised my eyebrow. Club music is not a genre though, CD2 is a mix of dance, R&B and hip hop. Anyway, I dont really care for either CD, the best ones all came from 1999 and 2000, amazing years.
July 8, 201114 yr I agree with Euphorique, I hate people who say "real music" isn't on the NOWs anymore. "Real Music" (indie/rock) isn't popular at the moment. And I like that they include minor hits, it covers the charts pretty well in that case :)
