Posted June 16, 201114 yr http://www.nypost.com/r/nypost/blogs/popwrap/201106/IMAGES/16/brit.jpg Britney Spears has come a long way since writing "Dear Diary" (off her second CD). In the 11 years since, Britney's not only penned more than a dozen songs, but co-wrote almost everything on her (in my opinion) best dance album to date: 2007's "Blackout." And while there is nary a Spears-scripted song to be found on her latest effort, "Femme Fatale," fans of Brit tracks are in luck because it turns out that Selena Gomez's uber-infectious "Whiplash" was written by Miss Brit! What I can't figure out is why in the world would she give up this hot track -- it's better than at least five songs that made the "Femme" final mix. Either way, it's out there now and gives Selena back-to-back hits thanks to "Bang Bang Bang." http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/popwrap/brit...Cc6OPGb1umVTxEI What do you think? Should Britney have kept the song for herself? _amIy6ywGHY Selena's voice is kinda toned down for copyright reasons.
